Faith after careful research I’ve come to the conclusion that we have no biological ties to Albania. We are Arberesh yes. The town was founded in 1535 by Arvanites ( who also spoke Illyrian) form Koroni Greece. The Osnato who helped start the town was a paid solder who fought with Andrea Doria Italian navel general. They fought against the invasion of the Ottomans Turks. The Osnato’s were in San Paolo for almost 400 years. Although they spoke a very similar language (ancient Illyrian they are not from Albania. Our families DNA is mostly Greek.

I fondatori di San Paolo e San Costantino Albanese provenivano dalla Morea in Grecia, da cui erano arrivati dall'Albania (sono di san Costantino)

Sepse perpara shqiperia ishte shume here me e shtrir sesa tani, shqiperia jogore kishte Epiri (Cameria) dhe Morea (kjo gje eshte e dokumentuar dhe e shqaruar nga librat e Klaudio Tolomeo te Alessandria e vitit 1500). Vihet re edhe kenga 600 vjecare "O moj bukura More" , qe paraqet nje vajze qe ka ikur nga territorin e saj Morea (pra Paloponneso qe flisnin Shqip pra ishin Shqipetare, kjo eshte nje nga provat te rendesishme te histori dhe identiteti kombetare te populli shqipetare) dhe ka lene nje pjese te familjes ne vendlindje. Greqi ,i thon vendit nga kan ardh,jo se jan Grek;Shumica e popullsis Greke,deri ne 1924,ka qen Arvanite.Mbas renies se perandoris Otomane,shum Shqiptar musliman te Greqis,Serbis u debuan ne Turqi dhe u zevendesuan me popullsi ortodokse.Etnia nuk njihej me perpara,njihej vec feja,..kush ishte musliman ishte Turk,kush ishte ortodoks ishte grek ose serb,e kush ish katolik ishte Latin.Kur ra Kostandinopoja(emer i ven nga Kostandini i madh,perandor me origjin nga Nisi i Dardanis)mbi 300 mij Arberesh iken nga Moreja(peloponezi) ne Itali,ndaj i kendojn Mores...moj e bukura More,kur te lash,nenge te pash...ikjet nga Shqiperia ishin te me vonshme,nga Epiri e der ne Kotorr ...klm
