I was just a kid when this movie came out and really did not appreciate it for the masterpiece that it is. I just watched it today 21 years later, as an adult, and I can't believe how good it is - especially compared to the "epics" released nowadays. Vishnu transforms to a beautiful Apsara called mohini (ie.the attractive one) he attracts bhasmasur. B became infatuated of her and he then starts stalking her as she runs and makes him tired out . He then slyly starts courting her by giving the usual CEO- type rant ( I will give you money and throne become my b*tch) ,so she sneers (*mockingly) at him and says that she lacks nothing she is immensely beautiful and no men can posses her ,she is the poetry of the universe itself and the manifestation of maya .. But then she says she will consider him as her spouse, if he happens to defeat her in a dance battle. He happily accepts and began dancing,fool doesn't know how to dance so he just continues to copy her steps and the dance continues for days, the musicians of Indrapuri(Indra's kingdom or heaven) are thrilled by her skills but he is at his wits end.. And the moment she touches her head he follows as well and then boom .. he turned to ashes. 😂😂 So, yeah this is the story .😅
