Omg...so strange to watch this happen in a place that I've come to love like a 2nd home...I'm only glad that no-onevwas seriously hurt & that San Stefanos flourished again afterwards...can't wait to b back again in 10Wwks...didn't c anyone we know in the street...thankfully :-) !! was filmed in 1993 forget the month, it was either may or september as we visit there twice a year so best ask the locals as they remember it very well,

it was san stefanos nw corfu, agios stefanos is more north east the other side of kassiopi was filmed in 1993

You sure it wasn't 94 ? I was working in indigo heaven the place with the pillers knocked over @615 and was in the bar when it happened unless it happened two years in a row.thanks for the memories.

the bits flying about in the air are roof tiles, and only one person was slightly injured tho nothing serious.

cant remember the exact time prob. about between 3-5 pm back in 1993 september or may we`ve been going there for the last 25 years so cant remember exactly time or month

Meteovolos - Dafis I was in the ground floor apartment with the closed shutters shown at 10:02. It was in September, I'm not sure of the exact date though. I cannot locate the photos right now. They were called the Olga apartments, at the time. It was mid to late afternoon between 4pm and 5pm at a guess. It was towards the end of the second week of our stay there. I think it will have been the second or third week of September of that year.
