Bungee Jump @ Rishikesh | India's Highest Bungee Jumping Point - 83m

Jumpin Heights offers first fixed platform BUNGY (Bungee) Rishikesh India. This is India's highest Bungee platform of 83 meters. The charge is INR3500. But if you will do other activities also( eg. Flying Fox and Giant Swing), you can get a combo price for them.
I did Flying Fox and Bungee Jump, hence I paid a total of INR 4700. I had to pay extra for the videos. The combo DVD is of INR 1200. Hence total amount paid was INR 5900.
At Jumpin Heights, they give you only two attempts. They don't push you. If you don't jump in two attempts, then you have to go back. Also there is no refund. So it is better to jump :P
It was really scary. I took some time to prepare myself, but finally did it. They gave a certificate as well, stating I have guts. LOL.

Great question! But answer would be quite lengthy.! Well I was fine until they asked me to stand at the end of the bridge. The moment I reached there my heart was pounding and there was hell lot of chaos in my mind. I told him I think I can not do it . To which the instructor said - relax, take a deep breath and remember it would be the best moment of your life.Plus he said they have a policy of not pushing people off the bridge, which means you have to do it yourself. He said jump on the count of three. I was just preparing myself till he counts three but in that moment I was in ultimate chaos and my legs were shivering. But giving up was not an option at all. The feeling was as if you have paid money to do suicide and you want to live and now as you are standing there you think whyy..just whyy. Anyways so on the count of three I jumped and when I jumped I screamed ..well that scream would have been the same if I was about to die..lol.I think I can understand what the word 'heart fail' means now coz the experience was quite close to this word. When I came down..it took some time for my heart beat to become normal..I had to sit down for a while to actually realize what just had happened and I was alive lol. But I was feeling great that I had done it. That feeling is just awesome and as I have a little height fear I would advise every one to do it at-least once. And I am glad my video does not show any of my before jump story :D

We dont need to climb up. It is on a mountain which is connected by road. So you park your car right outside their office(which is closer to this point) and walk till this point.

Gutsy girl, my palms did sweat when you were on edge. I always had this lingering in my mind about bungee jump. When we free fall and reach the end of rope, does the rope strangulate the tied body parts. If someone can clear this fear I shall give it a shot. TIA

Alpha Commotions Even though they tied my legs, there was no pain in the legs or the knees. I was completely fine after the jump and could not feel any pain. The next day I could feel pain in the back of my neck, but it became alright after few days. I believe it would have been becoz of the reason that I didnt lie down right after the jump. At the bottom there are people who will help to dettach the rope from you. Once dettached, they asked me to lie down flat for some time(may be to equalize the flow of blood in the body I guess). But I didnt do so. As soon as the rope was dettached I started walking. My friends followed the instructions, thus they didnt feel any kind of pain, even the day after...Lol I wrote so much :D . Do we need booking for it? Bcoz i went on new year and did reverse bungee jumping, flying fox but they said you need to book for bungee 1 month in advance. Reverse bungee and flying fox were awesome, total adrelene release. You can watch on my channel

@@praleshsindhuliya8390 I am very well aware. Humans are not evolved to fly, if we were we would have had wings and therefore a state of free fall is not normal for homo sapiens. When you free fall your senses will tell you only about your external body that is falling but in reality the pull of gravity is felt by all your organs which builds up a lot of stress in them. Our heart, our kidneys, our lungs, pancreas, cells etc. are not accustomed to a state of free fall, ofcourse they can endure that and therefore they don't fail but it's doesn't mean that they don't feel stressed because of it. You are a summation of all your organs not just what your senses tangibly make you feel. But if your organs are already weakened they might even fail. People with hypertension etc. may have a heart failure during the state of free fall and chronic build up of stress will harm your internal organs leading to their eventual failure.
