Rumours have been rife that actress Sanam Jung and her husband have divorced. Sanam got married to her long time friend Abdul Qassam Jaffri in 2016, who is a pilot by profession. The couple is blessed with a daughter Alaya Jaffri.
Recently, the Alvida star took to her Instagram handle bidding farewell to the year 2020.
"As 2020 departs, I’m bidding farewell to this year sitting on my couch having the last coffee of 2020 hoping that 2021 will bring us better luck. May the new year bring us happiness, prosperity and luck. Hope everyone stays safe and indoors. Goodbye 2020, you have been tough on us", she wrote.
On her post, comments poured in regarding her divorce and fake rumours that Sanam's husband Qassam has married another woman. People are spreading the fake news that the couple has parted their ways and the reason for their split is Qassam's extra-marital affair.
Sanam Jung has maintained silence on the matter, and is yet to publicly comment.
Previously, the 33-year-old star and her daughter recovered from COVID-19 infection.
Sanam Jung صنم جنگ is a Pakistani actress, model, television host and VJ. Jung started her career as a VJ on Play TV in 2008, while studying for her BBA, but then moved to AAG TV in 2010 during her MBA. She made her acting debut in Dil e Muztar on Hum TV opposite Imran Abbas Naqvi, Sarwat Gilani, Aijaz Aslam, and Saba Hameed. In 2013, she appeared in Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai opposite Meekal Zulfiqar and Adeel Hussain. She next appeared in Mere Humdum Mere Dost with Adnan Siddiqui and Hareem Farooq. She then appeared in Alvida again with Imran Abbas Naqvi in 2015. From 2014, till 30 November 2018, she was the host of Jago Pakistan Jago on Hum TV.
Sanam is now appearing in Mein Na Janoo which is a joint venture between MD Productions and Cereal Production of Adnan Siddiqui. It is directed by Furqan Khan for Hum TV and also stars Zahid Ahmed (actor) and Affan Waheed.
Sanam, along with Mikaal Zulfiqar, Muneeb Butt, and Rabab Hashim, is soon to play the leading lady in Qarrar, which will be aired on HUM TV somewhere around 2021.

I fail to understand the intense interest that is shown, not only by media but fans of celebrities for the personal lives of such generallydisgusting celebrities! Whether they marry, split up, divorce, re-marry one, two or three times, it is their personal life (but of course it DOES show dark side of being in the business!). Obviously, a great majority of entertainment industry people, men and women alike, consider their own lives to be nothing but "entertainment". And, therefore, they have very little, if any sense or value of a decent family life. To them their colorful careers are the number one priority. This is the reason no really decent girl, coming from a real decent family would like to join this industry.
