So why don´t women treat him with respect in return? Why do they keep running over his heart like it is trash ? A mother can not teach a son how to become a real man, a father can not teach a daughter how to become a real woman. That is why a son needs a mother AND a father.

A song that’s come to mean a lot to me. It’s easy to think that you have the upper hand in a relationship. But maturity doesn’t equate wisdom. You grow older and you sometimes realise as I did that when you walked away you thought that you had the upper hand emotionally. But as the years pass you realise that she taught you more than what you thought you taught her. And you still miss her terribly.

I haven't listened to it much, and I have to this day never seen the music video. Loved it. They should make a movie like this, and have Terence Trent D'arby sing it again for it. Mr. D'arby has a few really great songs that aren't well known, and the other one I recommend listening to is "Frankie and Johnny" - from the movie with the same name.
