This is really great, my only question is that on the long term, does the metal screw wear out the plastic? I am planning something similar, but from plywood, and the same applies there - I'd put some metal bushing to protect the plastic/wood.

Thank you very much for liking it. Yes, you are right, there may be wear in the long run (there is still no wear on mine). A piece of metal sheet can be added to the screw hole from under the plate, so it will have a longer life.

Good Build. I think you checked all the necessary boxes on this one. I especially like the support on the back, just under the top for mounting to the bench apron. Gonna steal that idea from you because I find bench TOP routers to be at an uncomfortable working height. May I suggest one free improvement. Put a full round over on the vacuum opening on the front of the fence. This would create a Convergent Duct which will increase velocity and decrease pressure going to the vacuum hose, which is what we want.

Thank you for liking it. I didn't make any changes to the milling cutter body, I just opened a hole and it doesn't cause any harm. This means that it can be used both by hand or on the counter.
