SANCTUARY AT GRAND MEMORIES HOLGUIN WALKTHROUGH PART 1; GRAND MEMORIES HOLGUIN WALKTHROUGH

A walkthrough through the Grand Memories Holguin, focused on the Sanctuary Side. I stayed at this resort at the beginning of June 2024. This is a walkthrough through the main lobby to the beach.
There are three areas of the Hotel: Sanctuary, Main Grand Memories, and the Family Section of Grand Memories.
The hotel was great. Quiet during the beginning of June. Yes there were shortages (coffee, eggs, chicken, beef, and soft drinks) but this is Cuba- you go for the people, warm weather, awesome beach, and great Cuban hospitality.

Great video😊 I found it great deal for this resort and I’m thinking about booking it. It is in the sanctuary adults only section and the price is incredibly cheap. How are the noise levels there ? What about food? Did you tip the staff? And how much would you recommend for tipping? Thanks again for this video.😊😊

With sanctuary you have access to basically all the areas of the hotel and you get an assigned concierge (they call them butlers). The noise levels depends on where your room is located. Mines had a great view of pool + ocean but was very close to the sports bar (it turns to the disco at night) so at night you can hear the music playing -didn’t bother me. Book it you won’t regret it!

Hi, I found the middle section of the beach a little rocky (right-facing the water, of where the entertainment people would set up their speakers) . I also found when you first entered the water it was a little rocky at first but the deeper you went in the water /sand the better it was. I was able to walk the whole beach without beach shoes but I found myself constantly looking down to avoid stepping on rocks/shells. As for mosquitoes, there were a lot during the morning after it rained, and present in the afternoon after 5/6 PM and sunset time at least in the beginning of June2024. I was lucky enough to not get bitten a lot. Bring your bug repellent and after bite!
