I went here for the first time last week.. is there a reason to start from sand hollow? I started at the ohv parking area. Its a large area just trying to figure what i missed. On a quad on paddles so maybe where i staged was for the better, as i see some rock crawling you guys were doing. Neat place for sure.

I couldn't figure out the park entrance by watching other videos. I thought you could drive your sxs in but was really worried about getting busted. I wanted to show you what I wanted to know. There is so much there its unbelievable what all we missed with a full week.

Nice video overview of the area- well done video. Surprised you didn't get more comments. Maybe add some commentary next time or maps, additional info., and a little less music, etc. If you have been to Glamis- how would you compare the two? We are going to MOAB so this would save us a lot of driving- looks like nice terrain as well. Not as large, but I like the diversity and prefer more valleys vs. just large intimidating dunes (never drove in them before.)

Thanks for the comment. This is my secondary channel we do more comments on "Think Build Test". Utah trail systems are huge so there is more to explore that connects here. My other video shows the Moab side of this park. Definitely the softest sand here it takes more power to get up smaller dunes. It has been my favorite place to ride by far. We went for a week and barely scratched the surface. About an hr from there we went to Coral Pink and they are really big dunes. Great area with Zion and the lake water was super clear. Just don't sit in the tide and get the itch.

@@americanadventureguide Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize sand has different degrees of softness. I've ridden UTV's in MOAB (Hell's Revenge) and never had an issue. Do you think I would get stuck if I rented one at Sand Hollow? Are there any areas that are more packed and more flat so that I don't have an issue. It will be my first time there and I don't want any issues. On any ATV- how important is it to have paddle tires?

what time of the month is this ?? i am planning to go in june but don't know if its too hot

We went the first week in June. It was getting to 100 already. We would go out at 6AM till 11AM everyday. Eat lunch then go swim. Awesome lake beach plus rock diving by marina. Just don't play in the -1ft shallow due to swimmers itch. Our house also had a pool in the coutyard to stay cool. Best vacation of my life! Being able to drive from the houses made it comfortably for the ladies in our group.

Its a different universe up there for real. We do dunes and rocks but the sand is different and rock climbing with the view of a 500 ft cliff in your rearview is disorienting. Need so much more time in Utah soooooo much to explore.
