Finished the game earlier today. I enjoyed it. That public demo they released is a crime as the overall game, story, art direction, and gameplay was good. No clue how they bumbled that stupid demo. So many people crying about Angels vs Demons stuff... I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but this seems to take more on the comedic side when it comes to demons to a degree as well as having them be akin to just another race in the place... And pretty sure the one there is a Fallen Angel, not a normal one... Heck, the dude himself mentioned calling the other Angels to deal with the brat. And it's not like Fallen Angels aren't a thing in "real" biblic stuff. Anyway, chill people. It's just a game using two concepts in a narrative sense. I honestly doubt they're trying to imply something deep with it.

Religions are just as much the reason for atrocities. Many of our problems today stem from holding on to a faith that openly hates if not entirely despises others. A faith that doesn't even reflect the religion they claim to adore. In the end, those who would call themselves "prophets" no longer even speak the word of God, but instead make up their own often erroneous attempts to speak for the lord. They claim to serve the angels, and this further poisons the name of God's servant. In such a world, it is this malfeasances that make it hard for people to accept their holy word as anything more than self righteous attempts to impose their rule onto others, making the so called demons appear beatiful in comparison. When people spend all their days talking about how much their God hates you, its tough to see how you are anything else BUT a demon, and so they come to love being a demon.
