Curacao is a wonderful, very tourist friendly destination with a beautiful melting pot of several cultures. It is a vibrant and interesting location with gorgeous beaches, excellent food, and so much to see and do.
Renting a car to drive around the island is inexpensive and well worth the time and effort to be able to really experience the island. They drive on the same side of the road as we do and the map apps on your phone work great here!

One of the best snack options, and one of our new favorites is definitely the made to order Dutch treats like the waffle on a stick, stroop waffles. This is such a great addition and really pays homage to their Dutch heritage.
Every evening they put out electronic game tables. This is a unique and fun addition to the resort. It gave guests another choice of things to do besides just go back to the room and they were being used all of the time! There were about 12-15 different games you could play with your partner. Everything from tic-tac-toe to air hockey was available - so much fun!

Yes, I would look into the Curacao requirements for drone use. Remotely Piloted Aircraft registration and the Curacao Telecommunications Bureau are the two where you will need approval
