You really should buy one of these Sandberg California TM4 Bass Guitars when you get the chance, as I had a Sandberg California TM4 like the one in this upload except the body had a laquer finish & a rosewood fretwood... I regret trading mine in 18 months ago & I intend to buy one again when I can... This is the only bass guitar in the 25 years of playing & buying various high end basses that the Sandberg California TM4 felt like it had been made especially for me... Amazing build quality & the sound will blow your windows out if you are not careful, as these bass guitars can really pack a punch in the volume & overall quality of sound... I'd been used to putting my other bass guitars to the middle of the volume control knob but on this bass I barely needed to raise the volume & it really punches through even with incremental touches of upping the volume... Look in your local guitar store & if they have one of these Sandberg California TM4 Bass Guitars then try it out & you'll see want I mean... .....

@@MzuMzu-nx1em Yes its not a 2 Octave bass but billions upon billions of guitar's have been selling for 60 year's with 19 to 20 & 21 frets without needing to go another 3 frets higher... I have enough 2 Octave Bass Guitar's that have 24 Frets but honestly how much would you say you play up in that range, as any working session/sideman playing on someone's songs all know you'll be doing most of your bass lines from the front to middle half of the bass, were as doing anything up in the 20 or 21rst fret is more for soloing or those who play 5 & 6 String Bass Guitar's... Your not limited by the lack of frets but only by what you can achieve with what you've got & I can say with 100% certainty that all the top bassists In the world who played some amazing bass lines did so with a bass that wasn't a 2 octave bass but hey everyone is allowed their opinion & preference & if that's what you want I'm sure Holger Stonjek who's the main man that put the Sandberg Company together & on the map will be happy to make you a 24 Fret Version of the Sandberg California TM4 Bass Guitar... You'll find when you talk to him as i have that he's a very down to earth guy with a great sense of humour, but when it comes to making his range of bass guitar's he cuts no corners & builds with his fellow luthier's some of the best hand made bass guitar's in the world as he keeps his business down to a level where he & his fellow luthier's can hand build these guitar's to perfection with the most basic CNC work used just like they did in the old days as he doesn't go in for mass produced guitar's were practically no luthier has really spent time on making those basses as most other company's just mass produce their products & its a simple case of just assembling them, but not at Sandberg Guitar's... In light of this still ongoing coronavirus stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world... .....

@@MzuMzu-nx1em No worries you go for it & yoy shred that bass guitar within an inch of its lifespan if you want to & don't let the lead guitarist get all the adulation & fun... lol Enjoy playing your bass guitar whether in a band or not as I started out on drums until my friend bugged me for months to play bass guitar but I kept saying said No but subconsciously I must've known I was going to play bass eventually because as soon as I picked it up it just felt right & without even thinking I knew all these bass lines from songs out in the charts or on albums that were playing in my head & it was easy to figure them out as I'd been listening to them for years & for playing bass guitar for me it was my calling & I never let anyone or another musician try & belittle being a bassist as it takes some real emotions to put into great bass lines as too many that don't know think that only lead guitarist thinks this way which is BS... Apart from outwith sex the only thing better is playing in a great rythm section & you'll know that you have to build one from the ground up & just like a house it has to be on a good foundation or it won't work but put a great drummer & bassist together in a band & its them that are (what I call) the " engine room " of any band & its them that are driving the beat & the songs along but we don't get the credit like lead guitarist & singers do, but we are happy with that because we know its us that make a great band & I'm happy with that & don't need any outside praise as I know if I'm having at great time just jamming locked in the pocket with a great drummer i can't get no happier & i love it, so you keep playing no matter what style it is as its all music & music brings people together...
