After playing bass for 40 years playing weekly the entire time I decided it was time to retire and sell off my F-bases. This decision was 3 years ago but whenever I see a bass player such as Ida, it makes me start gettting that bass vibe feeling again. There are very few bassist that impress and hook me....Ida Nielsen is one of those bassist!!! Tight, smooth, and always in the pocket!!!

Great Demo! Cool review! Ida is a BEAST with some killer groove! What really impressed me about this video is the fact that it's been almost a whole day and there hasn't been a single "I HATE SLAP" or "THIS VIDEO WOULDA BEEN GREAT IF IT WASN'T FOR ALL THE SLAPPING!" comment! THAT is truly amazing! Could be a testament to Ida's immense talent, OR, the slap haters just haven't made it over here yet...

@@basstheworldofficial I used to do that on my old Yamaha BB350f, but that was because the lacquer on the pickup wire was compromised and causes earthing noise if I touched a pole piece. All that disappeared when I got Dave Pegg's old Jethro Tull Ibanez SR-05f. EMG Js with hum-cancelling Strat type single coils underneath them ... staying with me till I die that one ...

Hi Gregor - your videos are awesome - and always fun to watch ... But this video struck me as really odd, I could never tell bei the camera angles and the editing that you have been in the same room with Ida for this video. I think ist missing an establishing shot, or reaction reverse shots. Ida Nielssen talking or not ... It really distracted me ... ... I put this as constructive as i possibly can :-)
