Exhaust air is directed away from the body instead of down the leg.
Can cool incoming air by up to 52°F (29°C) or heat it by up to 33°F (18°C) from the incoming air. This is achieved by simply switching the mixing lever from hot to cold! Just like a car temperature control, you can have more or less air going to the helmet. Likewise, you can have all heat, all cool, or the perfect blend!

Cool air tube RPB MFG # 4000-01 fits Nova 2000 and Nova 3 respirator helmets. The cool air tube is able to cool the incoming breathable air to the helmet by as much as 32 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s a huge deal when it’s 100 degrees and sunny out there. Treat yourself to some AC!

If you noticed the cold air device can be flipped to hot or cold, it's written right on the side of the unit.
