सलील, इतक्या वेळा ऐकलंय पण दर वेळी डोळे भरून येतात.... आणखी एक.... ठेका सुरू झाला की काहीतरी चुकतंय ही भावना होते. गल्ली चुकलं काय? असं वाटते. एकदा बिन ठेक्याचे गाणे ऐकायला मिळेल का? अर्थात्, लताबाईंनी ठेका हवा असं सुचवलं असेल तर?

I was very sad to hear Latadidi here. As a 60 year long ,ardent fan of hers, I am saddened how age has robbed her and us , of her divine singing !!!Salil has done a great disservice, by having Didi sing this now !!! He may , erroneously , think that this is a feather in his cap. IT IS NOT. !!!! Many of my fond memories of Didi singing in her young age , have been damaged by this unwise experiment. Didi is Not at fault here !!!

It's a good song and poem. But It's so disrespectful to the Legendary Late LataDidi.. Salil tried hard to make us believe that Lata Didi sung only for him during her last years, but in reality it's a petty attempt to cash the publicity!! Didi was exhausted while singing this song, which one can also feel.. and this so called Composer pats his back admitting to it, shamelessly in one of his interviews when he was trying to promote his "great" work. It's the divine voice of Late Lata Didi and her ever humble and loyal to the work ethic due to which she could finish this song & only she could have done it! But shame on Salil Kulkarni for putting Didi and her voice in this condition! History and Lata Didi fans will never forgive you for this torturous act!

I disagree with your sentiments which are otherwise genuine and with some point. Latabai has used Her voice in such a way that Her singing is emotionless which is need of this rendition. Salil is just a medium between बाकिबाव Borakar and Latabai.
