Is it necessary to take bath before doing pradesh sandhya. Is it applicable for Brahmmacharya and Grahastha.or after getting up from sleep can we wash our hands and legs and do the pradesh sandhya?

Once in a while if due to some extra work previous day you over slept and got up just before sunrise you can do by washing hands and legs but not daily. Same rule for Brahmachari or gruhastha

I heard from few that Sandhyavandanam on Pradosham days are to be performed after Pradosha kaalam (after 7pm) and Sahasranama parayanam. Is it that way only. Till now, I am under the view that nithyakarma time is independent of any days. May be those who do pradoshakaala Puja in temples may have different rules given their specific requirement. Request clarity. Thanks.

Sandhyavandanam time will never change for any prodosha kala or sahasranama parayanam . It's alway 48 mins before sunset or sunrise

while travelling in train for northern states from tamilnadu, normally it takes minimum a day atleast to reach destination. how could we perform sandhyavandanam in train?. can we do sandhyavandanam inside running train?

Earlier days while traveling from one place to another via Bullock cart people will get down and perform Sandhyavandana then continue. If the train stops at a major junction for 15mins then we can get down on platform and do it. Gayatri can be shortened at 10 japas in such period.

@@ashokkarthikeyan8677 Though in shastras we will never find a reference from Rishis to perform sandhya in a moving object. But at the same time Rishis mention whatever your situation may be (as i said in the audio that if water is not available for Sandhya give arghyam with mud/sand) so performing is karma gains priority over any other query whether it is a moving train or standing train. So yes you should do it even if train is moving

Perform Aachamanam with water. Chant mantras by closing eyes. Offer water in argyam in a small tiffin box and then pour it later at a place but no one should stamp this water
