I knew Kenny Inoue. He used to hang out at the BonCat and sometime WhiskeyRiver. This was near Atsugi/Yamato area. I saw Sandi and the Sunsets at the Ink Stick in Ropongi district in Tokyo. I was the only Blond guy in the room..... then David Bowie and entourage walked in. Memorable night. I must have been 21ish. Miss those days. Hisashiburi.

I'll add that before I saw them, Kenny told me Bowie was considering them for an opener on his next tour. He was in Japan on Red Shoes tour at the time. I was like... yeah right Kenny. Then Bowie showed up. When I saw them at Ink Stick... I remember Sandi say I love David Bowie from the stage.... I remember they did a few songs including Jimmy Mack, and then Bowie leaves. I still remember BonCat's owners name so Kenny say Hi if you ever read this.
