See how easy it is to sand Lumin's Workshop Foam Clay once it's dry!
Is your finished sculpt looking a little rough around the edges? Didn't quite get the angle you wanted on that bevel? No problem - Lumin's Workshop foam clay can be sanded! Join us this #foamclayfriday as we clean up the bevel pieces we sculpted last week.
1) Grab your fully dried foam clay sculpts. Drying time will vary depending on thickness but we recommend at least two days before attempting sanding.
2) We recommend using either a 150C or 220C grit sandpaper.
3) Begin sanding. Work in light layers to avoid over-sanding and be mindful of your edges to keep them crisp and clean. Remember: you can always sand a piece more, but oversanding is harder to undo!
4) For curved or hard-to-reach areas, you can roll your sandpaper piece into a tube.
5) Keep sanding until you reach your desired result.
