I bought one of these 3 years ago and forgot all about it, found it in my desk drawer and after watching this video I remembered why I bought it now. I have an iPhone and I have to photographically document all kinds of stuff for work but since I have an ultra locked down work computer, I wanted an easy way to access my photos. Can I leave this plugged in to my USB on my laptop and let it sync to my phone automatically so I can view my pics? I am currently syncing all my photos from the phone (13000+) so that will take a while. Great video!

Hello sir. I have a SanDisk 128gb. So the ? is, when I connect the device to my iPad and then locate my home network and as you said, the devise disconnects, but then when I close the app and open the app again, do I not have to reconnect the device again and even though I am connected to and see my home network, the devise 'sandisk' has reconnected to my iPad and I will have access to both my internet and to the files on the 'sandisk' device. Hope that ? is not to convoluted. Thanks a bunch

you don't have to plug this into a computer. just connect the PC & phone via wifi (wireless fidelity) and use it as its own base to transfer files from your PC to the phone. This is effective against phones that will not connect to the PC properly (LG, Samsung, Motorola, etc)

I know this is a rather old video, but I’m trying to find out whether you can WRITE/SAVE to the drive wirelessly from a laptop. I’ve been told by some you can, and by some that you can only write to the device when it’s plugged into your laptop/pc. I need this to stay plugged into something in one room, and be able to save files to it from my laptop in another room. Any ideas?

How long does it take to charge the stick entirely? and also for how long does it last - considering full usage of video streaming. 2. About the music - will it be played in iTunes or in the Sandisk app? a. If iTunes, do we need to convert the file type? and sync the stick as well when syncing iPhone? b. If Sandisk, does the music play even when the app is in background/another app being used/screen powered off? 3. About the photos and videos backed up have original file size, right? No truncation? 4. About HD video streaming - how good is it? I am using iPhone 6 Hope to get a reply soon! Excited to buy this :)

the reason you are not able to see ur own wifi because its flash drive's wifi which help you to connect to internet which is weak and not your iphone's wifi

One more problem.... Try this.. Connect to sandisk wireless stick... Set a password on the stick... Than make the stick connected to home wifi... Now u have a home wifi connected to stick and the stick is encrypted.... Exit and restart.... Try play a video it won't work... Don't know why...

The connect app is shit It uses 2GB ova my iPods memory. Alone Then wen I transfer a 26 min vid that's 5gb size. Then it jumps up to 7gb then iPod says storage full then the transfer stops ?

Frustrating! Charged it, connected, started transfer and by the time almost all was transferred- the doggone thing just turned off! Saved nothing! Recharged it again all night. Now it won't connect to wifi even though it appears as one of the networks!

The apple app version uses 2GB of my iPods memory. Then when I go to upload a 5GB - 26min video it shoots up to 7GB then my iPod says out of storage space then the transfer stops ? I have bought two of these pricey toys. The never worked correctly. The Sandisk connect would crash twice every time the play videos. It helped to turn off celular data so the p to programe would not try to connect to their mother ship. This was probably so the could hit me with more sales of their products or copy my data. There no privacy for plebs!
