Sandon, BC

From New Denver on the shores of Slocan Lake we drive east on Hwy 31a to a place called Three Forks where we turn south towards the historic mining town site of Sandon, BC.

The town of Sandon is mostly owned by Hal Wright whose been there since 1972. Hal brought those old buses to Sandon and people call it Ghost buses, in a ghost town. On your video at 16:20 is the road if you turn right that goes up to Idaho Peak. I have hiked up there many times years back. The view when you get to the top is amazing.
