Sandra Bullock is opening up about parenting two Black children. The 57-year-old actress had a candid conversation about motherhood while appearing on Wednesday's episode of "Red Table Talk." In a sneak peek clip, "The Unforgivable" star admits that "sometimes" she wishes she had the same skin color as her kids. "To say that I wish our skins matched, sometimes I do. Because then it would be easier on how people approach us," she said.

I cringe when multi-millionaire attention seekers decide to enlighten. It's the camera, people, get real. Celebrities use so called causes to draw attention to themselves, not a cause. Show business is a self absorbed occupation. More tragic are the lesser than's that feed on that, as well as feeding their show business egos.

I think you meant a black son. Your child being a different race is much more stressful when that child is black because being black is one of the most challenging races one can be and if you have no experience in that then you lack true understanding of what it means to walk in a world where people fear you based solely on your skin complexion and all of the stereo types that surround it.

I’m dealing with this with my child’s grandmother before I got pregnant she introduced me by my name, once I got pregnant she would introduce me by my name and the laugh and say I’m black I certainly wish I knew this before getting pregnant. Then after our child was born she makes little digs about my being black I don’t leave my child alone with her.

People are tired..and the saga still continues. It's a difficult dynamic. It's constant trauma. Especially when the police are killing you. People are fed up. I agree..we are in a place where blacks are very skeptical of whites and are tired Especially since they state... show love and don't vote love. And maintain status quo..bc they are liberal but become complacent. They don't want change..they want to spk about it on their terms not vote accordingly and then get to say when there tired of hearing about racism. But want ❤ there are not enough Sandra bullocks that will vote love. George floyd act (police accountability)..the hindering of voters rights in georgia. My husband was a black man. We had one child who others consider black and I'm not. From Hollywood CA in the 70's, to Pennsylvania, in the 90's to Florida from the early 2000' to now, our experience has been highly dualistic. Both good and tragic. There's no longer any option, no matter how one may have been raised, to remain comfortably racist. Been there done that to the extent where all that's left for humanity itself, is the nature of our ongoing evolution. We're on our way, above and beyond any one's personal false belief or opinion. Being good to others, patient and non judgemental is a practice that helps me most. I believe God, by any name is Love. Love Heals. We're getting there better than ever.✨🙌✨✌✨🙌

The most important thing she can teach her children is to be respectful to authorities. I learned that as a teenager when my brother was stopped by cops He told me that you have to say yes sir and no sir. Didn’t think to much of it because I try to be respectful to everyone anyway and they have always been kind to me. But after having a son I learned they seem to pick on guys more then girls. He told me most are okay but there have been a few that were terrible. I don’t think cops get up in the morning thinking who can I shoot today. As far as George Floyd goes I think there was more to the story because they knew each other. He murdered him on purpose and it broke my heart every time I watched the video. But young men and women need to be respectful to anyone in authority that is the best lesson we can give to young people.

And also in 1957Jackie Moggridge was the first female to become a British airline captain however she does not speak for all women she serves as a woman who beat the odds of sexism to achieve such a feat. Despite her being the first this does not negate sexism so when you put this into context it's the same with race. You can name many successful black people but they don't speak for all black people just like not all white racists speak for all white people or successful white or poor white people. Don't categorize groups into a monolith everyone has a different story. Instead of gaslighting someone's experience by comparing it to someone else how about you listen and educate yourself and lose the assumptions that one speaks for an entire group and their plight.

I love Sandra Bullock but if she feels she wished she had the same skin color as her children maybe she should have thought about that before and tried to get white children I have biracial grandchildren and it's not a problem they know who they are, a lot of black people feel like they are left behind maybe it's because white people always bring it up they have the same opportunities as we have , people need to stop talking about that racial stuff, why can't we just all be happy and get along for crying out loud

Most people don't think about skin tone when adopting. Most are more interested in getting a child they can love and take care of.

Spoken exactly like someone with white privilege. Of course, people of colour just want to live, love and be happy but there are those who just don't want that for them. Remember Ahmad Arbury was only jogging before he was gunned down in cold blood because he looked "suspicious", he didn't in any way threaten any body's life.

Because you look more politically correct and like U were a better person, if you adopt non-white kids as a white woman. If she had 5 white kids of her own, people would ask "why does she have so many kids?". If U adopt 2 or 5 black or asian kids, people think you're amazing. Such hypocrisy.

what did you want her to do? go to the adoption centre and say whites only? you can't just pick a choose kids. it's not a shop. once approved, an adoption agency will put forward suitable adoptees that they think you'll match with. if she really felt a deep connection with her kids, i doubt the first thing on her mind is what race are they?

@@thedragonsunicorn Many of these celebs will travel to certain countries to adopt or buy kids. They don't go to agencies in the US, for instance. Look at Angelina, she went to certain places to adopt kids. Same as Madonna. I don't know exactly how this lady adopted her kids, but if she wanted kids that look more like her, there is other ways to be a mom. Getting pregnant for instance. If that wasn't possible for her some how, of course adopting can be a great thing to do, but she is saying it herself that she sees the issues that come with it, but decided to adopt these precious (all kids are precious) kids anyway. She could have adopted white kids in countries where there are thousands of them being held in terrible institutions. You don't need to go far, but then you don't get to talk about how "hard it is sometimes..." I'm very skeptical about adoptions, I've heard too many stories of adopted kids discovering where they came from and how their new parents did not even care how they got them or if they were practically taken away from good parents, that had no tools to fight against it. Not all adoptions end up well. If they were her biological kids, would there be a debate here? Of course not. That are the ideas that come to my mind, among others, when I hear these ladies talking about how bad it all is for their poor adopted kids. Why??? She is a good mom right? Far better off than others.

@@thedragonsunicorn Again, go to Russia, Ukraine or Romania. Just 3 examples with many institutions full of babies nobody wants, in some of these countries, not one of the kids available will be asian or black. Just to answer your question. I value kids all the same, but I would not purposely adopt a black one and then go on TV, to make a drama about it.

If she would have adopted 5 white kids, people would ask why. If she had given birth to 5 kids (white like her), people would ask why the heck does she need to have so many kids! But adopting black or asian kids for example, she looks politically correct and like she was an amazing person. Let's not forget that.
