I just fell completely in love with this musical piece! It reminds me of a small medieval village, and it just has that Eastern European vibe to it. So catchy and lovely! It reminds me of the Russian piece Troika. I love the way her song builds up in tempo to a great finish, and you can tell even the audience loves the song and started clapping to it.

Sandra saved the Romanian reputation which was already falling apart slowly but surely... With Nistor injured, Ponor facing decision making issues and not competing, Bellu and Bitang scandalous retiring, almost all of the Athens 2004 team retired,no other valuable teammates, Izbașa carried the Romanian thrill and provided winning Gold in huuuuge upset for the Americans, Fei and the whole world. More than that , she reinvented herself by winning Gold on VT in 2012 and she's the last Romanian Gold medalist at the Olympics...11 years now.. Such an inspiration!

@@WN1235.5 Actually it's the choreography and the interaction with the crowd more than anything, especially the tempo change at 0:56. I watched each one probably eighty times as a kid. Always associated the two routines in my head.
