I can relate to much of this story. The constant panic, the lack of sleep, the deep rooted overwhelming fear that paralyzed me. A brain retraining program got me out of bed, then Schubiner's methods got me moving again. Somatic tracking helps immensely, as does simply accepting the sensations. No longer resisting....simple concept as they say, but not easy. It's completely counter intuitive, but it works. Journaling and anger expression are also important. I still have more recovery to do, but I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel and have freedom again. You will too. Just keep going.

I know exactly what she talked about being completely disassociated from your own brain. This along with the POTS and nerve and muscle and brain issues and disautonomia is torturing me. When I am tremory with adrenaline rushes I am not able to understand what is happening to the brain. I feel no connection with my environment and feel completely lost. I pray I can heal.

This is exactly what happened to me. 20 months later, I am doing much better and I finally have been able to work. I do have some issues still that I am trying to resolve. The nervousystem can take a while to calm down

I can relate so much to her story as well, and goin by the comments and other long covid groups I’m in it’s a lot more common than what doctors would like to admit! The struggle is VERY REAL and it really needs more attention! I wish you all well! 💛

I don’t agree fear is driving long covid. I thought covid was a joke when I got it. I never knew long covid even existed. I went back to fully living my life with no fear. Then smash….

Stuart it feels very much to me like you're repressing your fear. I see you comment this everytime the topic of fear comes up. It's because you're afraid of fear that whenever the topic of fear comes up you feel the need to speak out against it. This will be triggering but I felt I had to share this because you keep commenting this Your mind might be very upset with me but it's such a relief to allow yourself to feel fear and then you can live freely But only you can allow yourself to do that Much love man
