Absolutely! You can design furniture or any custom built-ins in SketchUp and bring it in layout to add details

After importing the file its just the model and not the scenes, and when i navigate to scene i only have one option "last saved scketchup view" but in the model all my scenes are there, any idea?

Maybe try updating the reference link in layout. Sometimes if you make changes in SketchUp and don't update it on layout it won't reflect all the changes you have done.

That was a required class when I was first starting in college but you don’t necessarily have to be good at it. Like Elyda had mentioned, you learn and develop so many new skills!

If by art you mean these types of drawings? Yes. These drawings are key to conveying your design ideas across. You will learn how to do them in school. A lot of schools do require a portfolio as well so it would help to develop that. Your portfolio can be any medium you like; paintings, drawings, photos, a mix, etc. It will show your thinking and creativity.

I haven’t come across that issue but you may want to change the scenes on the second sheet

@@SandraJessicaChavez The scenes change but the color with them too, I was looking somehow to change the color of the model in different scenes but it changes in all of them, if somehow i could lock the color in one scene so i would not change in the other, any way I'll find a way, thank you

Agreeing with Advin's comment! You do not need to become an architect to become a designer. You'll learn a bit of architecture in school =)
