One of the hardest games i fully completed was The Binding of Isaac Rebirth with all dlcs which took me 650+ hours to fully complete. To fully complete this game you have to defeat, Mom, Boss Rush, Moms Heart, Satan, The Lamb, Isaac, Blue Baby, Mega Satan, Hush, Delirium, Mother, The Beast, and Ultra Greedier with all 34 characters and also you have complete all 45 different challenges and all the other garbage surrounding it. Fully completing The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is like finishing your education and paying of your debts.

A hard platinum is tough if you know what you’re in for, but the worst is going into a game expecting it to be an easy platinum but finding out that’s it’s a lot harder than you thought. The one I had recently was Ratchet and clank. I stupidly looked at the platinum difficulty for Ratchet and clank Rift apart instead of the original game remake and found out the hard way that I had to do another entire playthrough minimum and also had to groovibomb every single enemy which is a notoriously annoying and glitchy trophy to earn. I now find myself on the brink of having to do a third playthrough as I haven’t maxed ratchets health. Not the hardest platinum on the planet but frustrating when you think it’s going to be a much simpler time.

I did sifu 100% completion and I must add that for the 100% not only you need to feel fluent on normal difficulty but on a max one as well for a couple of challenges. For example, the last one is to take down all bosses in one go back to back on max difficulty (their movesets are expanded)

I just recently started going for Platinum trophies after finishing the Dark Souls trilogy. I loved all three games and simply wanted to go for their Platinum trophies but they also proved to be very frustrating at times (looking at you DS 3 Darkmoon Covenant). Currently I have DS 1 and 3 platinumed and I'm working on part 2 right now but all in all, I'd say as of right now DS 3 was the most frustrating to get

Sorry to hear about your hand. I had a similar experience a few months ago though that was not due to something I did outside. It was actually a specific games trophy that made me go so tense in my hand that up to this day I have to carefully select which exercises I do in the gym because of the still remaining damage. In case you wonder what game that was, 3D Dot Game Heroes and the horrible Monaca Circuit. Perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've ever had to do for a plat.

I had a similar issue with New Tales, although in my case by replaying the last chapter multiple times I managed to get 3 out of the 5 endings. I then had to restart the entire story from the start following a guide to get the best ending, and then restart it once more to get the one I was missing. In the end I finished the game with over 50 hours because of so much trial and error (aside the one playthrough following a guide).

7:11 beyond two souls and new tales from the borderlands have the same frustrating trophies to get, in beyond two souls you have to view all the endings (which there are a total of 10-12 i think) some of them you can just do them at the last chapter, while others require for you to go back to old chapters in order to get the ending, which is pretty damn infuriating, but hey i still managed to platinum the game, but it will never be one of my fav games to platnium.

Some of those sounded painful...shame about the New Tales of the Borderlands game...the first one, the telltale one, was so good. There are too many to list - but one game that was frustrating to platinum was "Oh Sir...Insult Simulator" - the RNG in that game is brutally bad

Sifu was very easy for me. I played on student mode and used those shrines to revert my age. The last boss fight was literally random bottom smashing after a tip I read on KZbin. 🤭 And yeah I agree on the borderlands game. The worst part about the game is that those endings seems totally random 😭

I've managed to complete only the third of that Sackboy challenge, still keep trying sometimes. The hardest platinum (out of my 20) was Ratchet and Clank 2016. The dancing enemies bronze trophy is so buggy. I had to play the game 4 times to get it. Also God of War 3 and Evil West are kinda hard cause of the high difficulty trophies, but manageable with some tips.

My most frustrating was definitely Please, Don't Touch Anything. And I'm fresh off of Cuphead. Not because PDTA is particularly difficult, it's a point&clic where you press buttons in certain orders to obtain different endings. Gameplay couldn't be easier, especially since I had a guide. No, it was because one of it's achievements is to do all of the 'endings' perfectly, without any click out of place. It hinges on staying super focused, and beating a difficult minigame perfectly, which is annoying. Plus reseting your computer clock manually before each new attempt. One of the puzzles is just plain click mashing. And when you're mentally drained from focusing on doing every interaction perfectly, you still gotta keep alert for a random event that can ruin your run if you don't pay attention. If you fail, and gotta do all of it over again, you'll be even more susceptible to distractions like listening to music or chatting with a friend, and more likely to f'ck something up. Long story short, what should have taken me 30min took me around 2h. Various issues (all stemming from distraction, frustration and impatience) made me have to do it 4 times. I was absolutely DONE by the end of it. I am never touching it again, the game can rest assured.

I myself did Sifu on normal difficulty(before there was no difficulty setting). The only hard trophy for me was beating the game under the age of 25 and doing all of the takedowns(I lost track of which one I was missing).

I generally don’t get too frustrated so thps 1+2 with the hard get theres immediately came to mind. But I just finished Chadley’s missions in FF7 rebirth and I think this plat will easily become the most frustrating. Just gotta finish hard mode

I unintentionally got the siege plat twice. Been playing since 2016 and got the ps4 version in 2018. Then, I got the ps5 versions plat shortly after upgrading to next gen in 2021.

I have 2x the plat of r6 lmao, worst trophy was x100 t-hunt in defense (no longer exist), and now it's clearly 10 kills with frags since you can't cook them anymore, but it's fine when you have 5000h on the game. Most frustrating plat must be payday 2 (I did every mission in the wrong difficulty thanks to a mistranslation) or battlefront II where you need to destroy 30 hero spaceship with regular spaceship without having them stolen. Honorable mention to DS2 and 3

Two Worlds 2 - worst game I've ever played. There's multiplayer trophies, which requires boosting. And the story i had to play the first half twice becuz the game glitched on me. I got so pissed off at the multiplayer trophies that i punched the ground and broke my damn hand.

Gta 3 platinum missable missions collectables before story during story stunt jumps car collection because if you don’t do all that before progressing to the next island it’s impossible everybody shoots at Claude once you have completed a mission even the pay phone hits are missable. 35 hours of PAINFUL GRINDING. Delete straight away and that was my second platinum.

As someone who had gotten S ranks and all the bosses in cuphead, I feel like that platinum is not that hard if you know what you’re doing and equip the right things. Though, want an even more excruciating experience? Try Celeste’s platinum without assist mode (assist mode is basically an in game cheat which is why the platinum is a two out of 10 on PlayStation profiles) (Also me 2 months later finds this comment kind of rude. Sorry about that)

@@mega_gamer93 The requirements are basically beating the A sides, collecting all the collectibles in the A sides, (regular berries, cassette tapes, and hearts) beating the B sides, beating the C sides, along with 2 miscellaneous. The only reason PSNprofiles says this game is a 2/10 is because of assist mode, witch basically is a in game cheat that allows you to never die or have infinite dashes and that allows you to cheese all but 1 of the trophies. But without assist mode the game is probably a 9/10 or 8/10

Platinumed rainbow six siege and let me tell you a sad reality. Team mates don't really matter, guns kill people in a few shots and your the only one you can actually rely on since you can not farm custom lobbies for the trophies. So enjoy when other people get kills but take the responsibility when you die.

To this day i dont know how i killed the last boss in Sifu.. i got so mad i wasn't even paying attention and somehow he just died.. i zoned out so hard i dont remember.. Sackboy was the same.. it took me almost a whole day to do that one run.. and pne time i did it and i was like 10 seconds off.. the problem woth that run is you know you can do it but always some random place you fuck up and its really frustrating.. Some harder trophyes i did recently is Batman Arkham Knight Trials, but just like Sifu the game clicks after some hours and its just a cakewalk from there Also Titanfall2 Time trial. Sandrez I have a question. I'll try and keep this as short as possible. So basically I've had my PlayStation account for over 12 years and looking back at my Trophy Collection, I basically regret buying and playing all those easy 1 minute Platinum Trophy games. My PlayStation Trophy Collection might look impressive at first having over 1000 Platinum Trophies but I've played hundreds of those easy Platinum Trophy games so it's not impressive really. Don't get me wrong I also have decent Platinum Trophies on my account as well. I just should of only of bought and played the games I wanted to buy and play, not because of easy Platinum Trophies. So because of all of this, I was thinking about creating a new PlayStation account? The only problem as I said earlier is that I have like over 12 years of time, effort and money spent on my account. So what would you guys do if you felt the same way? Would you start again? Would you just carry on with your account but just now only buy and play the games you want to buy and play? Any advice would be great.

i'm sorry but Sackboy is my limit, I know it's possible and i've seen many complete it and eventually I think I will atleast complete it, But well done to the absolute maximum because I don't think it is worth getting for a medal next to that game. Then what? Look at it one or twice then idk what.. I know how to it just faultless platinums aswell as completing it within 10 mins without many almost any mistakes now that's a grind, the worst part is I got it with PS Extra and no way i'm paying for standard membership to play it, I'd rather that then pay for it separately, but 1 year isn't enough time when thinking of getting it even with dedication, I celebrate those who had grinded for it. And the other things I won't platinum is faultless games and though that has a unreachable status, Also known as High Expectations or those of which has online trophies or Unobtainable tag for obviously reasons so well done once again for the Platinums Sandrezz and others.
