Oh god, all these POVs were a pain to watch. And what was more upsetting wad that the majority are really good at SOT. It's Pete from 16 all over again times five

from sapnap, illumina and tommy underestimating how far the ravengers’ hit range was, sapnap attempting some insane lava parkour and failing, dream not expecting to take fall damage and getting knocked into the lava, punz thinking the portal was on the wrong side and not making it out, 5up dying multiple times, george getting lost and his teammates giving him wrong directions, philza placing sand and being out pinged and his whole team ending up locked out, this had got to be some historical sands of time for things that went wrong.

It sucks that so many people died but on a positive note can we appreciate Hbomb? Out of all the MCCs that SOT has been played in, his team has come first 70% of the time which is way more than Dream and Pete combined who are also two of the best SoT players. What's more, I believe Hbomb has never been trapped in or even died (that last part may be untrue..) What an absolute legend

I heard George ranted to Bad about his SOTs and how frustrated he was for not seeing the sands because of his colorblindness which was heartbreaking because he can't control that and his chat went absolutely pissed over him passing so many sands. At one point he even tried to mine the floor to check if they were sand or something. Bad then told him to use his colorblind texture pack next time but George was too worried for chat to think it would look weird on stream or something.

Note if your joining MCC : Never interact with those giant rhinos and know your paths. But tbh, Sands of time changed the whole MCC. Like how it ranked down most of the teams. Rip Cyan (Discduo lava :( ), Blue (Dadza was so CLOSE!) and Red (George know your paths) and Lime ( At least they escaped AT LEAST… [Gem… Gurl your team could have died-] ) and Green (Punz rookie mistake no big deal!)

I really think Aqua did the best out of all the teams, though they got 2nd. They had good communication throughout the run, but what made it better was CaptainSparklez coming in clutch with the Red Vault and getting back in the nick of time. Proud of them.

Oh I am early. MCC 17 really was a series of tragedy in SOT. Also RIP to Cyan who could have gotten first if Tommy and Dream didn't die. At least Dream stayed positive after that. It's funny how one single slab or fall damage changed the whole event.

They could have finish first in SOT and with a 7th place finish in Build Mart, it wouldn't have done much to kick them out of Top 3 or Top 5. Plus they got 2nd in Ace Race. They could have also played safe in SG and it's just a question between Pink or Cyan to 2nd. We could have gotten Cyan vs Orange in DB. SOT was the game changer for this MCC.

Problems in SOT I think mcc should fix: (Totally not biased off of my own opinions) - Decrease the amount of ravengers in a small area (one ravenger is already hard enough to deal with, especially time-wise) - Have more sand rewarding puzzles at spawn - Fix the area with the lava, where dream, Tommy, sapnap, illumina, and others died in so there's at least a way to get out of the lava, same goes to any other puzzles similar to it. This mcc SOT was so tragic to most perspectives but at least it sort of helps mcc improve its errors. Gg's to orange and especially grain.

The thing is Dream was out off the lava pits. He jumped back while waiting for tommy. Tommy would survive if he could get out. Dream would either die or be on half a heart because of fire damage.

there were so many analysis posts about SOT after the past couple of events with new strategies being shown to the players, that noxcrew decided to turn the difficulty up a bit like with the ravagers at the lava you cant leave. Love that it isn't a muscle memory thing like Ace Race!

I was watching Dream's vod and the startegy they used was the best out all the teams. Tommy will get the blue key and explore the blue dungeon. Ponk will solve the puzzle and get the red key and then explore the red dungeon. Dream will be going through random dungeaons with no colour marks to find the green or gold key. karl will be the sand counter. Their plan was working successfully until tommy and Dream died because of the ravengers. They could have been in the first place.

Most painful for me is cyan cuz they had 4.2k coins (the coins they had before Tommy went to the ravagers) If Dream didn't die but Tommy still did and he also didn't try to get Tommys coins then they would have 3k coins but Dream can find more providing he gets the timer refilled. 3k coins with a couple of hundred swould of boosted them to 5th though. If Dream didn't take fall damage and managed to get Tommys coins then they would of gotten to 4.6k coins. If Tommy did the golden key parkour instead of going back to the ravagers. Then at least no one would be trying to save his coins from the lava, and since Tommy had 0 coins at this point, it wouldn't be risky to do it. Also if in the first place Tommy went to do the golden key parkour rather than going to the ravagers then if he fell. At least he wouldn't try to get the coins back because it would be too lost in the lava, which means Dream wouldn't end up dying. If Tommy just got Dream to come shoot the ravagers, or shoot them himself with his arrow before getting the coins in the first place then they would of had 4.6k. I think the most important thing was that they should of known that you can't swim out of that lava. Because thats really what screwed both of them over, Tommy had the gapple idea and Dream agreed to it. If they knew that you couldn't swim out, they would of just left the room alone and gone somewhere else. Despite that I hope to see Tommy and Dream on an mcc team in the future though. It really sucks what happened to Cyan but also to all the other teams.

the thing is, the ravager thingy is rough. No matter a survival series, or a minigame, ravagers are really really annoying. Also, tommy trying to jump in and back out of lava was next to impossible, he had to perfectly time the fire damage tick and his jump to do it, which is really tough
