The European Union's economy is one of the few self-sustaining capitalist economies in the world. Although that is kind of being ruined by the recession in Greece now. 3. I'm guessing you haven't been to Europe. As a person who has lived in both South Africa and different parts of Europe, I can assure you that poverty in Europe is prevalent but nowhere near as bad as it is in SA. 4. @Zizo007able My friend, South Africa would have been just like all the other African countries if it wasn't for the English and the Dutch... The whole reason it is Africa's leading economic power is because of the industries the colonizers set up at the time. Now I, just as much as you, am against slavery and the exploitation of a race but there's no denying that South Africa wouldn't as strong today if it weren't for the help of the Dutch and English..
