My thoughts on this whole five year quitting the vlogs things is that Shay should take his vacation with his family and not worry about filming or uploading at all, but than when he comes back he should continue the vlogs because his views are as high as they have ever been and this is something he loves doing. Idk thats just my thoughts. I know the vlogs cant last forever but I love you guys!

Wow I am surprised at all the people saying "When you stop daily vlogging is when I stop watching." If you're a true fan you would want them to do what makes them happy. You would be happy with only a couple of vlogs. Most youtubers only upload one video a week. And that's if they even decide to record a video. Shay has been doing a vlog every day for five years. If he wants a break and only wants to make a couple a week I am okay with that. Least he is not completely stopping. Some people only care about themselves. They have five kids with two under 4 years old. Let them have family time and enjoy their children while they are young. I love the shaytards and want only the best for them ♡♡♡

You are so right! Shay did say that he'd try for 5 days a week. And that is even more than what other youtubers do. So in my personal opinion, this certainly isn't the end of the world and defiantly not the end of my subscription :D

My favorite part about the Shaytard brand deals is that you are up-front about it. I see a few KZbinrs that try and sneak them past us. I think it's awesome that they're able to make money by simply talking about a product for a few minutes, but it leaves a sour taste when they try and sneak them it. Almost like they're ashamed to do them, y'know? But I love how you're just like, "Yup. Audible is paying me to endorse them" because it makes me more willing to check them out and I respect you more for it.

I love the Shaytards, and I dont mean to be mean about this but...I understand how its hard doing what youre doing everyday, but compared to other peoples jobs and lives, youve got it extremely easy. "having" to upload the vlog everyday at your leisure inside your beautiful home. I sound like a dick but im not trying to. Im just being another one of those guys telling you how "easy" it is. But to the people working 50-60 hours a week slaving away at exhausting jobs, you've got the leisurely life.

In all honest it was not given to him, first he started with granite table tops and fitting kitchens, so he started from the bottom (no bad songs intended) and then he worked is way up with all of his efforts. So he has probably done more than what people do than just sit down and work, hes gone the extra mile to put smiles on others faces and risked his life on this job.
