With all seriousness, William Afton is the best indie villain of all time. I really love how he’s this manipulative and sadistic serial killer who wants control over everything but lacks the ability to love. And with his mad scientist arc, I believe it’s more of him learning from his own actions and find a way to escape the consequences in hell. And whenever he’s confronted physically, he just breaks down and gets irritated and becomes a coward. The Silver Eyes is what made him a much better villain, and personally, I think the quote of him being a “cornered rat” really fits his character. He could’ve been this man who never felt loved, but instead achieves a selfish goal without it. And his deaths were really satisfying because it puts an end to his rampage- and UCN makes it scarier because you can only hear him screaming in agony. Even if his execution wasn’t good, he’s still my favorite FNAF villain of all time, and I really want to see more of his character being developed in the future. Absolutely love the video dude

Goated video, and I love how different parts of the fnaf franchise that are not in the continuity as the games (The Novel Trilogy, The Movie, and some of the Frights (I am a StitchlineReboot believer)) add insight on William Afton, just from different lenses.

I actually dislike what they've done with Afton post sister location. Him being a mad scientist and somehow having insanely advanced animatronics, but not using those for any other location makes no sense, and oh yeah IN THE 80s. However, FNAF 6 kind of remedys this by turning a lot of that Sci-fi back into super natural with "remnant". Now, instead of a mad scientist, he's a serial killer who found a way to become immortal. That's MUCH better than some wack, unrealistic mad Scientist with crazy, impossible technology. and yes, animatronics possessed by children is somehow more realistic than Sci-Fi technology in the 80s

The way I see it (or would want to see it), William was always coo-coo, but Henry pushed William too hard, as in business disputes/franchise direction (William wearing original Springbonnie specifically, in my eyes hating Freddy and the gang, with Funtimes being his own take on "Fredbear's Friends"), or something, thus killing Charlie and MC out of spite and to tarnishing the Fazbear brand specifically. I doubt he ever cared for any of his kids. Remnant stuff has to be for the ego as well.

Dont know if you see this but my personal theory is that Burntrap is real and is William Afton. Just thing about it if fazebears frights isn't canon and william being Burntrap. You then got the conzept of supernatural and scifi in one story. And if im honest if he is burntrap I just want charlie the one to be who finishes william of and the mimic being a seperate character.

I am hoping that the next movie will be a prequel like Fnaf 2. It would give William a more indirect and overarching villain akin to Palpatine in Episodes 1 and 2. Show even when not in the thick of it he's quite the threat
