I can see why Keanu didnt go for it. He cares very much for her, loves her even. But in a way she needs attention and she shines in the limelight. She's sociable and quick witted. And because he appreciates her the way she is he couldn't ask her to slow down to his pace. Another introvert who gives him time and space to be himself would suit him better. She needs a good guy with a good sense of humor and less social anxiety. But there is definitely love between them and that will never go away.

enak susunya he probably dont really know who he really is anymore ever since that unfortunate event took place.. Guess it reflected much on his current projects as well, such as John Wick, which basically tells the story of a grieving man, or Destination Wedding, in which his character mostly expresses his somewhat cynical thoughts on marriage and relationship. He's probably still on his own journey to rediscover himself after going thru such almost unbearable hardship. losing someone close is always a hard process to digest.
