Excellent video as always. I love going to Sandy Hook at least once a summer, not so much for the beaches, but I love going for bike rides there. In fact, I only learned how to ride a bike a few years ago in my early 30's...and I learned at Sandy Hook. I really enjoy checking out the former military things too. The open space there and how big Sandy Hook is gives it a totally different vibe. It's nature and not a "beach town" type vibe. Very freeing (never knew there was a nude beach there, speaking about freeing!! )

Excellent visit to historic Sandy Hook. I enjoyed seeing the fortified concrete defense bunkers. Lots of old homes being restored. Nice video, thanks.

Are dogs allowed on the beach?

Dogs are allowed on the beach at Sandy Hook from October 1 to April 30. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and owners must clean up after their pets. Dogs are not permitted on ocean-side beaches from March 15 to September 15 due to piping plover season. Dogs are permitted on bay-side beaches at Plum Island and Horseshoe Cove throughout the year.

"You may encounter nude sunbathers": are they dangerous ? 🤔. Why should it be problematic to see nude people ? Nudity is just our body as the nature made it.

Not a problem at all. Just showing the signs that are in the park. Not everyone has been to Sandy Hook.

@@Insights_followus I know, as far as you are concerned. But if people wouldn't have been intoxicated by religions, they would simply consider that nudity is normal and nobody would have invented swimsuits. And they would consider weird to wear clothes including for swimming and sunbathing.
