your dragonfly is absolutely stunning, thank you so much. Please can you tell me if there is a way of sealing the paint and lustres without losing the beautiful shines?

Hi Jane ~ I've used them in my journal and sealed with DecoArt Soft Touch Varnish and can still see the shimmer and shine from the lustres. Once everything is dry and before you seal you can buff where you painted the lustres on and it will make them shine even more ~ the more you buff the shinier they become. Then seal your piece and hopefully the lustres will shine better :) Have a great day! thanks for your sweet words :)

Thank you :) Yes....I've put the fluid acrylics in spray bottles with water and spritzed them :)

+Arlene Rounce - you are welcome Arlene!! I don't varnish them unless I'm varnishing the whole piece and then i do a light coat over the Lustre. You can buff it after it has dried for a couple of hours and it sets it nicely. :)

lol! I have no idea how I keep them so clean - other than I wash them all the time!! I can't stand to wear gloves when creating so thankfully the finish on them allows the paint to wipe off easily :)
