Sandy,…. This turned out so pretty. I love watching your videos. You sound like you were lucky enough to travel to some awesome places and maybe inspired you. You really have artistic talent and aren’t afraid to try things. I really need to just do it! Your work is beautiful and creative. Continue making things.🤍❤️. I have a suggestion you may not have thought of for adding small things I have used tweezers which helps placement. Just throwing it out there in case you didn’t already think of that.

Can you tell use if you mix your resin and hardener? How much does a vase like that usually use ?
@SandyBeachBumTM3 жыл бұрын
It uses about 1/2 a cup. And I am not sure what you mean by your question - do I mix the resin and hardener... of course I do, that is how epoxy resin works... it comes in two parts that have to be carefully measured and then stirred for about 5 minutes.

It turned out absolutely fabulous!!! What gauge is your table cloth/vinyl?
@sherriesantana51094 жыл бұрын
I love you styles and would keep to know if you use a lubricant for the bottles and the plastic?
@SandyBeachBumTM4 жыл бұрын
No lubricant. The resin peels right off.

Hi Sandy, Love your videos! Can you tell me where to get the clear plastic (not cling wrap) that you used, or just the mil if you have it? I don't want to fight the cling wrap, lol
@SandyBeachBumTM3 жыл бұрын
I use a plastic table cloth from the dollar store that I cut up.
@ssue4q4 жыл бұрын
That came out so pretty but those little dots I see that are free flowing around the outside of the bowl is that part of the mold?
@SandyBeachBumTM4 жыл бұрын
Those are the small acrylic crystals that I added off screen while the resin was still tacky.
@ssue4q4 жыл бұрын
@@SandyBeachBumTM wow that is so wild it looks like they're not even attached to the piece! Really quite cool
@SandyBeachBumTM4 жыл бұрын
Oh wait. I just went and looked - that’s a separate garland in the background that I have on my shelf.
@ssue4q4 жыл бұрын
@@SandyBeachBumTM lol that's so funny because I kept thinking how did she make such a thin invisible piece of resin with the little balls at the very end so they look totally free flowing away from the art piece? And I didn't see what you were talking about the Holly in the background till I watched another video LOL too funny. Anyway it's still beautiful thank you
@sherriezuchristian81334 жыл бұрын
Can I ask where you might find a clear plastic tablecloth ? Btw love your bowls!!
@sylviathomas74822 ай бұрын
What type of plastic are you using? Is it a thin vinyl or?
@SandyBeachBumTM2 ай бұрын
It was a dollar store table cover. Just clear plastic relatively thin.

I just discovered you on my laptop. I have KZbin on my TV, but cant leave comments, go to the links everyone always refers to. Your work is absolutely beautiful, and Im going to follow your lead. One thing, fyi, constantly ckicking your torch the way you do is going to kill it. There are only so many clicks b4 it stops sparking. Just thought I'd pass that along. Where do you get your " Diamond Dust? Crystals?", they are pretty....
@SandyBeachBumTM4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the torch tip. I have a bad habit of clicking it on and off!! I will try to do better! Thanks for watching!!
