Tbh I don’t like both ships.. you might ask why and it’s because to me PERSONALLY I feel like it just ruins the characters and they don’t even act conanly anymore because of these ships for example for shinogiyuu I don’t think the age is the problem because people got married to people who are way younger then them, older then them or just around their age at that time, but the thing that ruins the ship is the fact that she’s probably trying to make tomioka a friend and nothing else. she isn’t even looking for a romantic relationship because she is poisoning herself and I have a feeling that she knows that it might kill her and that’s why she isn’t really looking for a romantic relationship. But tbh (and I’m sorry to all the sanegiyuu shippers) it makes more sense canon wise then sanegiyuu like no hate for gay people but I feel like people are really messing with senemis character to make this ship work which is something I really don’t like, and that also senemi hated giyuu a lot in almost all the chapters I know at the end they maybe started to get along but I would bet my life that it wouldn’t be to the point that he would have a crush on giyuu and tbh I feel like it’s a hella toxic ship like dude I’m into fyozai ( which is really toxic ) but like I’m sorry I just can’t imagine them liking each other in a million years. Also at the end of the manga it said that giyuu got married and it was illegal to marry a man in Japan at that time which makes it really un Conan. BUT YA KNOW WHAT WHO AM I TO TELL PEOPLE TO NOT SHIP. Tbh even though I don’t like how they change the characters in the show this is something I can look past and wouldn’t care about. It’s just that I wanted to say my personal opinion and that’s it (also I don’t like shipping because it just usally ruins fandoms like most of the time if y’all want a fandom where you could ship people without getting judged go to the bad community just make sure to not ship mori with anyone because that trash can DOSNT DESERVE LOVE)

Sorry if this is all over the place and doesn’t make any sense Even though I kinda didn’t read it all I kinda agree. Giyuushino just feels weird to me bc I know shinobu was there to make giyuu more social (I think) and like become friends with him. I know shinobu said “isn’t the moon lovely” which is a saying in Japanese which means “I love you” but she could’ve also said this in a platonic way to get a reaction out if him(?). Also if giyuushino ended up being canon (which I’m glad it’s not.sorry) pretty sure shinobu would’ve died from the poison and later on giyuu would’ve died from his mark. Ok now with sanegiyuu I know gay marriage or being gay wasn’t allowed back in their era but I think the sanegiyuu situation is kinda like the shinogiyuu situation where like giyuu and shinobu were friends (don’t even remember if they were actually friends) and giyuu and sanemi were friends and they’re being shipped together. I honestly wished people would just see people as friends and nothing more unless they were actually dating. I love sanegiyuu (fluff) I dislike giyuushino mostly bc of their fandom behind the ship. But I won’t hate on someone who likes that ship. I will say I hate when I see sexual stuff about both ships. it’s a little ok with sanegiyuu since they’re both over the age on 21. But with giyuushino I wish shinobu was like 19 or 20 since she would be a little over an adult. Plus in the reincarnation au or academy au isn’t shinobu like a student and giyuus a teacher? Student x teacher doesn’t sit right with me. Back to when they were demon slayers. If kanae survived giyuushino would’ve never existed I think neither would have sanegiyuu since sanemi and kanae would be dating and shinobu wouldn’t have been a demon slayer.
