Yes, but daltonizm and color-blind is two different things. Daltonizm - Your vision is un-complette with colors, and you see them different, you can also didn't see colors like brown, orange (an it's like 20 types of this) Color-blind - you didn't see any colors, it's so rare, and only men's can have it (sorry if I'm wrong!!!!)

And in the sentence, the new master never mentioned him having any problems with reading.
