In this video we can see the work that has wrapped up on Sanford Dam as well as how the Sanford Park is shaping up. The new baseball fields are looking great! The Sanford Dam is located on what used to be Sanford Lake. Sanford Lake is located in Mid Michigan. This footage was filmed on October 13, 2022. This was after the collapse of the Edenville Dam on May 19, 2020. Wixom Lake was rapidly rising due to heavy rainfall and the Edenville dam could not hold back the water. The side of the dam failed sending water rushing towards Sanford Village. The aftermath and damage left behind is devastating. Make sure you subscribe to catch the follow up videos I will be filming.

Great footage Jordan! I really like the oversight from the drone POV. I can't get to where we were in the interviews by the boat ramp due to construction but its shaping up nice thus far. Finally SOMEONE finally gets it! You do not build on a flood plain, it needs to be a park area that you can easily walk away from. Do you think they will ever catch on in New Orleans, as that city is just waiting to be utterly destroyed once again.

Been saying this for years. 8th grade science class, natural erosion and water runs. You maybe able to detain it for awhile but nature will eventually win. Great filming and series of events.

There are many many areas across the country where areas downstream from dams have been built up. One area that really caught my attention is the Dallas Fort Worth Area and Lewisville Lake.

The area directly under the dam was a park anyway and flooded every spring. The area on the other side of Saginaw rd was houses though, and they turned that into another park now.

could you make vedio on pontica Fiero restore shop please . I'm into ventege , classic , muscle vehicles . seen your vedios on the Eatonville, Coleman River, Midland Michigan River had flooded out most of the areas. Also the repair jobs of the dams have been done this year 2022. Like to see more videos of what businesses have gotten lost or got a chance to have rebuilt thank you and have a blessed day
