सबसे पहला राग जो विदुषी अरुणा ने प्रस्तुत किया वो राग मालकौंस है ( हिंदुस्तानी में ) । वहीं कर्नाटिक शैली में ये राग हिंदोलम् के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है । कहा गया है कि इस राग में रचा गया गीत भगवान विष्णु को अतिप्रिय होता है ।

So Tamilians, you appreciate Aruna ji speaking Hindi so well. But why do you people hate Hindi, or your politicians at least think Hindi and Samskrit are poison to Tamil nadu. Why don't you teach a lesson to these dirty self serving political creatures the unity of this great country that expresses in so many wonderful ways including various beautiful languages, all belonging to this fascinating land of ours. I too am a tamilian by birth, but residing in Bengaluru, lover of all that is beautiful in my Bharat. I write in Kannada, English, and Sanskrit.

@@aadityakiran_s the kids very well identified the various ragas (malkauns in case of the girl) and even sang in it and as far as their expressions are concerned they nodded when she was pointing out subtleties. They aren’t as stupid or rather poor as you supposed them to be
