The veteran film personality Sri Sreekumaran Thampi explains extremely well the entry of an young M.K.Arjunan as a music director in to the films , as it was he who took the initiative to impress upon the film makers of those times, the hidden capabilities of M.K.Arjunan as a musician and succeeded well to get a breakthrough for the musician and it was a long journey for Arjunan master since then , and here came the birth of Sreekumaran Thampi -Arjunan Master team that saw several musical hits makes its way in to the hearts of listeners, the flow of which continued unabated for many years. It was during this period, the Malayalam film industry also witnessed the arrival of so many music directors , lyricists and singers followed by the birth of several hit songs as the Malayalam music industry flourished , which also saw Yesudas as a singer turning out to be unstoppable and whose mesmarizing voice making its way in to the hearts of every one , a trend which continued for many years.
