STCC 1997 Season Review

This was only the 2nd year with SuperTouring regs (Sweden was very late on adopting them) so many teams and drivers saw a chance to get into the serie with a very small budget, but that all changed for 98 tho. Not sure about the E30s, but many cars that ran in STCC in those years where indeed old BTCC cars, Volvos where TWR, most Fords Reynard, Hondas MDS, most Opels 888 and so on. One of the Audis where the 96 Beila car also, and so on.

brilliant- this review had all the best touring cars ever. shame it was so short. being 1997, some of the cars were out of date(in btcc the m3's finished in 1993). so was some of these cars ex btcc model??.. im bloody jealous that u got stcc. u know m gonna ask for more...maybe a few more reviews like this if u have got them..quick question. do u have them on tape review or tape from tv.if review, where can i find them?

oh thats a shame, stcc would have been on my birthday list for vids!!!! thanks for the info bout stcc, even with a small budget, it can create great racing and thats good i was right bout some of the cars being ex btcc!!!!
