This arc is why, in spite of some of the inconsistency in his writing and arcs like fishman island and thriller bark just straight up doing him dirty, Sanji is still one of my favourite straw hats and why he's actually super popular with a lot of my friends in certain spaces. Anyone who's grown up with some uncontrollable feature or characteristics that aren't tolerable to their families, e.g. being queer, disabled, autistic, etc or just being considered less exceptional or deserving than the rest of your siblings find an abusive parent alienating you and encouraging your siblings to harm you or treat you badly really relatable, and the way he processes that trauma and responds to it in this arc is really incredible

You are a kind empathetic soul.. this is heavy.. and sanji's story hits extra hard cause it's the truth for so many kids in real world too isn't it.. every kid deserves to be protected and cared for but unfortunately sometimes people who are supposed to protect them break them the most.. it will get worse a little.. but it's okay.. among all the traumatic backstories sanji's story for some reason hits me the most.. i find his story a success.. a success story of his resilience and braveness from such a young age.. and everything he had gone through he never lost himself.. he always stayed kind.. for me this character is strong more than just the physical aspect 😊

Vinsmoke Judge (56) was born the heir of the Germa Kingdom and is a brilliant scientist, excelling in biomechanics. His dream is to use his scientific knowledge to conquer all of the North Blue and restore the Germa Kingdom to the glory his ancestors had once accomplished. He is a widower and the father of five: one girl, Reiju, and the quadruplets, Ichiji, Niji, Sanji, Yonji. He is not a loving father and it seems that he was not a loving husband either. We don't see his face since he always wears a helmet, but it's plain to see that all children took after their mother, thankfully! 😅 He is the king of the Germa Kingdom and the leader of the underground criminal syndicate Germa Double Six. He is not a loving king either. Like in Doffy's case (see Human Auction House in Sabaody), the World Government knows about Germa's criminal side, but choose to ignore it because it fits their interests. Judge is often invited to the Reverie since there's often an advancement in his kingdom or they are involved in some incident. In episode 794 the soldiers also mention Judge by his epithet "Garuda" which translates to "mythical king bird" since that is the name of the First Bird in Hindi mythology.
