Holy shit. Didn't know about the Splitsvilla thing. And it was Splitsvilla 7 as well. Shit must have been wild back then. Can't find any clips of it online. Although this thing of she's only Bumrah's wife doesn't really go in my opinion. She was my favourite presenter back when I used to actually watch the pre-shows on Star Sports and stuff. The reason why that exciting acrimony has gone between Indian and Pakistani players is absence of test cricket. On the India vs Pakistan bit, and why the attitude of the players changed... I think the reason is much more geopolitical than it is related to cricket Let me explain... Pre 2010s, Pakistan and India were nearly equal. The growth rates were near about the same. And the Pakistanis considered themselves equal to any Indian player out there. Hence they looked to each other as Rivals. Post 2010s, After the start of the IPL and Pakistan's worsening situation economically and politically, Pakistan Cricket declined while Indian Cricket skyrocketed. The Indian players became mega-millionaires and cult figures while the Pakistanis couldn't. Hence the rivalry declined cause a lot of Pakistani Players are themselves in awe of the Indian players and their cult status
