There is another angle to this. Anyone who praises in any form the tyrant Tipu who converted/killed so many Hindus and Christians is cursed by his victims (like for example Melkote Iyengars etc) to suffer. Anyone who even tries to be associated with Tipu is also cursed like Vijay Mallya who brought the sword. That probably explains the 40 other people who died. Siddaramaiah started Tipu Jayanti also faced defeat and will face defeat again.

I think Though, Zeenat Aman got her squint when her ten year old son was instructed to hit her , by her late husband's brother or chacha. Being slapped at a party by Sanjay Khan did not cause it. I remember this very clearly, because even back then , I was in school but it came on TV. I remember it was covered on News for a few nights, that Zeenat Aman has filed an FIR on her son and her brother in law, and ofcourse she spoke herself that her son is being brain washed and misled by her bitter in laws who were angry that she filed for divorce from Mazhar Khan, who was dying of cancer and had been a financial liability on her pretty much shortly after her marriage. She had been forced to stop working and she after a few years (10+) had had enough . This infuriated his family and apparently even Mazhar died bitter, feeling entitled to her time, money and commitment. This does not excuse Sanjay Khans bad behaviour, but I think one should not mix up facts.

One thing I liked about zeenat is that she valued relationships but also kept them despite their failings tried best to make them work ,she did with Mazhar Khan used all her earning n savings to get him treated fir cancer when he was ill , but that bugger never earned well ,n got jealous of her career , finally tbey separated leaving custody of elder son to Mazhar where they poisoned him against zeenat after mazhars demise the son came back to zeenat while Mazhar s mom n sister took all ancestral property not giving a penny to her but zeenat s mom always stood as a strong piller of support to her now both the sons are vd zeenat n love n her

Wasn't he married to Zeenat Aman? He apparently hit her at a party. But he did not cause the damage to Zeenat Amans eyes. Because Zeenat ji kept working for a decade after that, delivering huge hits with Amitabh Bachchan, Manjo Kumar etc, and eventually married Mazhar khan. What happened to her eye, happened when her 10 year old son, hit Zeenat Aman on her face at the instruction of his chacha, after Mazhar khan (Zeenats ex husband, and the boys father) died. This incident came on news for weeks! I was in school but it was such a big news and zeenat aman herself came on TV and gave a short interview. She filed an FIR against her brother in law and named her own son in the complaint, who ofcourse was a juvenile. But based on this she got clear custody of her sons. And if I am not mistaken she has 2 sons. And she remained married to Mazhar Khan for over a decade, but shortly before he died, she had asked for a divorce. Not clear if she got the divorce though, because he died. I remember reading Mazhar Khan's interview in StarDust magazine back then... I was in school, but atleast in that interview he was gracious and acknowledged Zeenat was a good wife and supported him financially, stopped working and dedicated her life to him and the kids. His cancer relapsed and he died after the second relapse i think. But, Zeenat also gave an interview that, she had reached her end of being able to take the stress anymore and she needed to be able to live her own life and needed a divorce. Not judging anyone's personal life here. Its not right. However, blaming Sanjay Khan for Zeenats eye issue, when that very smart and articulate lady has blamed her son, who was a minor and instigated by Mazhar Khans younger brother, is not right. Not a fan of asanjay Khan, but it is dishonest to blame anyone for what they have not done. I see a lot of confused and misleading comments here.
