These taxi drivers are absolutely wrong. You should complain about them with evidence to the taxi company. You are so right tourists were scammed by these taxi drivers. If they were coming to your home stay with prior booking details attach those details also. Complain how these Taxi company was rude to female tourists and tell to the police also. Just stay safe. If you want us to complain please share the detail of the taxi company and police station. I will write them a letter from United Kingdom and complain about them also. If Taxi companies or some black sheep behave like this, Tourism in your area will get a bad name.
