Sanjeev Abhyankar | Episode 3 | Indian Music Conference 2017

Sanjeev Abhyankar, is one of the leading vocalists of our country from the Mewati Gharana, is an artist of international acclaim in the field of Hindustani Classical and Devotional Music. He started learning Hindustani Classical music from the tender age of eight. He has received training initially from his mother Dr. Smt. Shobha Abyankar and Pandit Pimpalkhare ji of Gwalior Gharana and later from Padmavibhushan Sangeet martand Pt. Jasraj ji of the Mewati Gharana.
With his magical singing, he has attracted the young generation towards the Indian Classical music and is a source of inspiration for them. In a career spanning more than 25 years, he has assumed the mantle of a role model of dedication, hard work, patience and perseverance.

The kedar signature is so distinctive that one can step adventurously away from the technical kedar while effectively conveying the illusion of being within it. This is especially common for kanha re. The second bandish brought back memories of the original Sanjeev Abhyankar!
