A lovely narration on the life of Harihar Jariwala aka Sanjeev Kumar. He had to struggle at a very early stage. Sanjeev Kumar's personal life was similar to the story of the films of the 70s era. A poor young man, mortgaging his mother's jewellery for enrolling himself in an acting school & when he earns a good amount of money releases his mother's ornaments. I had read sonewhere that Sanjeev Kumar knew that he too would be a victim of a heart attack as it was hereditary in his family and all the males hardly reached 51. We lost a gem of an actor...very early. A lovely video on this versatile actor. Nice work Rahoul 👌👌

I among new fans was fortunate to listen Sanjeev Kumar telling about his struggle to ameen sayani ki maji aapney Pehley kyu nahi bataya. . ( Sanjeev mother never told him the exact amount of loan on them. So when Sanjeev used to repay loan, she used to say itna karza aur hai ). After final payment Sanjeev ji asked ki maaji aapney pehley kyu nahi bataya. She replied ki ek baar main bata deti toh tu chuka nahi pata. Sanjeev Kumar childhood struggle was very important for how he conducted himself in industry. He gave an impression of being kanjus which he was not. 😅 Aware of no body living beyond 50 in family. He secured his family children interest in his will.

Rahoul ji i wish to add Sanjeev ji was very good son , brother n chachu to his nephews n nieces. But it baffles his fans how he dealt with women in his life. Many were love in him like jaya shree t , neeta mehta n sulakshna pandit. Wish he had moved on from hema Malini n marry sulakshna pandit who said to him meri maang bhar do in Hanuman temple in Delhi in 1976 after he got first heart attack. She wanted to marry in order to look after him. but he said he can never forget hema Malini. he should have married sulakshna n live a happy married life with children till he lived. She loved him to the level of worshipping god. He beautifully explain to ameen sayani what kind of wife he wanted !! Voh ek aadarsh grih Lakshmi hogi. Uskey honey sey aangan mehekga n all. Very traditional n poetic imagination. Aag sey nata, naari sey rishta kaahey mann samjh na paaya. Ultimately proved to be true. Wonder why a traditional man seek love in modern women ? Why he fell in love with nutan a married lady ? Concluding Fans find solace heroines singing him beautiful songs in his flims.🥺

Lacked a bit of class, IMHO He was involved with Saira Banu and made it known in an interview - he didn't name her but he claimed that once he became famous she sent out feelers but he declined out of respect for her husband - "a great actor" - well, if he really had respect he wouldn't have said those words Contrast that with Rajendra Kumar - it was known that Saira Banu was involved with him but he never said a word. This was the time when she was yet unmarried but he was married and nothing came out of their romance but except for movie magazines talking about them not one word from him - now that is class
