We are still thinking about gathering some crumbs from the fight between the global blocks, in a submissive manner. We need to envision a New World Order to serve India and the whole of humanity, based on equality of nations and peoples, and take a new global initiative to unite humanity.
@sid1680Ай бұрын
@@nerukar1nice thought, but more like a socialist one - everyone should be handed things equally with equal responsibility. The real world just cannot work like that. For long-lasting peace, there will always have to be a single nation in charge and setting rules in concert with other nations. But the nation in charge is key to world security. The proof of this is the the long period of relative peace and prosperity since WWII. A multipolar world does not work. It didn’t, and that led to so many civil wars in the 18th and 19th centuries and then WWI and WWII. Multipolar worlds is a spiritual concept. Each spiritual seeker delves inside for the truth, leaving the outside to itself in the hope that the other seekers will also delve inside and leave the outside to itself. This is not possible with nations though in a multipolar world. Just not possible. It’s not possible in a business either. A business based on dharma too will not survive with multiple heads or CEOs. There can only be one nation as the leader of the world. Because in a multipolar world, no nation would want to shoulder the burden of accountability arising from something wrong within. Each will blame the other for the wrongs inside it.
@adarsh4700Ай бұрын
@sid1680 it was still multi polar after WWII with US and Soviet in the game. The relative peace is because the invention of nukes and both sides has to loose alot if a real war break out. Also, there was no absolute peace for example unrest in Latin America, middle east etc. So multi polar can easily exist and can maintain peace.
@sid1680Ай бұрын
@@adarsh4700 To think the world was multipolar after WWII is a bit specious. Right through WWII and afterwards until the USSR built the nuke in 1949, the US was the dominant power. It’s why the UN, the World Bank and the IMF are in the US. The USSR built the nuke in 1949 only because of US threats to it on many issues. The nuke balanced any US threat. Even so, there were migrations to the West from East Germany under the USSR. So the Berlin Wall came up in 1961 to prevent these migrations. Then in the 1970s, Nixon engaged with China subtly on the economic front in such a way as to keep it from joining hands with the USSR on communist ideology. Finally, Reagan in the 1980s brought the USSR leadership to admit they were gradually collapsing. In 1988, it was clear as to US’ superiority throughout the period from WWII. Today it’s a much diff situation. China is being misunderstood as being communist. It is a mix, being communist in political matters, but capitalist in matters of trade and commerce. The principle of nuclear deterrence has lost its meaning quite a bit. Conventional warfare is drastically on the rise!

Sorry, NOT according to Manmohan Singh who was a sold-off to the West! It was Angus Madison, a now renowned british economic historian who was financed by the brits to derogate India with some historical evidences, but startled the world with his studies proving the World that In 1800s India's GDP contribution to the World was around 30%! From Google AI Overview: "Economic historian Angus Maddison's work on India's economic history includes the following: World's largest economy: Maddison estimated that India was the world's largest economy for 1,500 years, from the first century CE until 1870 when it shared the top spot with China. Dominance in the Hindu period: Maddison's studies confirmed that India was the world's leading economic power during the Hindu period, with a 32% share of the world's GDP in the first 1,000 years. Decline under British rule: Maddison's work confirmed that India's share of the world's GDP dropped to 4.2% by 1950, due to British rule." For more details, please refer to: Maddison, A. (2006), The World Economy: Volume 1: A Millennial Perspective and Volume 2: Historical Statistics, Development Centre Studies, OECD Publishing, Paris, doi.org/10.1787/9789264022621-en. Or see the Wikipedia under Economic History of Indian subcontinent, not under India, because until 1947, it was almost Akhand Bharath! Of course India must appreciate Angus Madison for his Honest Output, even though he was not expected for the same when he was financed for this Study, which was rather meant to build evidence to derogate India!!

The myriad challenges that the Modi government has had to face, and continues to face everyday. All the naysayers - RG, the CM's, the historians, the islamists, the missionaries, the marxists, the underhanded west plotting to bring the government down and even today in Auckland calling for the PM's murder. On deeper introspection, I realised how much of a balancing act it continually is. The Hindu population instead of standing together supporting each other and their civilization, always have some wretched negativity to bring up. It irritates me endlessly. I would tell these people, hey, when it is about an important issue, if you can't support or be positive, for hell's sake, keep your negativity to yourself. Don't you realise that instead of being helpful, you are just a hindrance, a bloody nuisance? Which other groups of people do you see pulling their own people down? These Hindus should be ashamed of themselves.
