Fun fact: Chopper is still technically an animal, so he doesn't find human females attractive at all. He can befriend them but he have no romantic interest in them whatsoever, which is also why he's the only one allowed to take a bath with Nami and Robin. However, the minks are a special case so it makes sense he'd be attracted to a deer mink :D

First: The fight against the sutchies were filler, but the song was in the manga. And yes, we all waited to hear it, and I myself was not disappointed. There's a full version I recommend listening to. Second: The song was actually written by Brooks voice actor Shigeru Nagashima, who wrote it for his cat named Nekomamushi. When Oda heard the song, he wanted it to be part of the manga, so he made a cat-like character that would fit the theme. That is also why the lyrics don't fit Cat Viper's personality. Lastly: The reindeer mink is named Milky. NOTE: None of the above is spoilers from the manga. It's just extra information you get from magazines and watching interviews. BTW: Cat Viper is a big fat orange cat, who loves lasagna... Remind you of anybody?

Shooting down his own man does force the group's hand in entering the belly of the beast - literally - so now we get to know what this is all about. Surprisingly, this has nothing to do with Luffy's actions in Fishman Island, but it has everything to do with Sanji's new wanted poster. They weren't out for blood, they were delivering an important message, an invite to one of Big Mom's infamous tea parties, and why? To celebrate a wedding, a wedding between one of Big Mom's daughters...and Sanji himself! Sanji's family has finally caught up with him, the evil family of assassins of the Germa Kingdom, and the infamous Germa 66 (pronounced 'Double-Six' rather than Sixty Six) Vinsmoke Sanji. The third son (San does mean three in Japanese after all) is scheduled to be wed to the 35th daughter of a Yonko, which'd by transaction mean that Sanji would have to leave the crew or the crew get absorbed under Big Mom's umbrella if he wanted to go through with it. Of course he does not, he wants nothing to do with this secret family, but an unheard whisper seems to have tied his hands. Regardless, Sanji refuses to let Nami, Chopper and Brook be hostages, and uses a brief opening to kick them out and threaten Caesar, just in time for Master Cat Viper to tower over the mobster Supernova and force him into bolting. Zoro holds the brain cell for the serious shit, and while it's cold he does have a point. Can't keep antagonizing Big Mom when we just threw the gauntlet down at Kaido, one Yonko is bad enough. So, taking heed to this, Luffy decides that they won't go after Big Mom all guns blazing, instead they'll intend (stress on intend) to sneak into Big Mom's territory and reclaim Sanji. Fun Fact: Brook's song 'Going off to meet the Cat Viper' was a song that Book's VA wrote on a whim, and when Oda heard it he wanted to create a character called Cat Viper. So we have Brook's VA to thank for the character too. The song also made it to manga.

Add to that the Laboon stuff and his last concert and I'm surprised he didnt jump in the sea in a fit of madness after 10 years, let alone 50!

I don't sure that this is relate to the setup but in the manga Sanji first appearance in chapter 43 / episode 20 talking about a bottle of wine and smoking in his mouth, hence the Vinsmoke. Vin is French for wine and Oda said if they are from this world Sanji would be French. And I don't know if they explain it in the episodes here or not but the Redline devided the world in to 2 side vertically and that makes Eastblue and Southblue on one side and Nothblue and Westblue on the other side. And it also mentioned in Shabondy that to go to the other side of Redline you either go up pass Marie juas or down pass Fish-men island. Obviously the Straw hats need to go under because they are outlaws. But how Sanji come from Northblue to Eastblue on the other side. That's why Brook said it was a big deal.

As someone who confidently says Sanji is my favorite Strawhat, I absolutely love the whole storyline that is kick-started in this episode. It's very hard to rank my favorite arcs in the series, but I do think Whole Cake and Wano are the ones competing for first place. (Worth noting that I'm currently not caught up with the manga though, I'm letting it pile up, so I can't say much for the current arc)
