I feel that Luffy's most redeeming quality as a captain is that his heart is always in the right place. Anyone who's heart is in a turmoil or a mess, always find their way around after they met Luffy and i find that smt really special and precious. Like what Mihawk said, Luffy possesses a terrifying power, that is not his devil fruit or physical strength, but the power to turn the people around him into his allies, no matter the situation. But other than that, i dunnoe if its just me but i get the feeling that big mom's children aren't as coocoo as her (Well at least some of them don't act like it). They care about one another (growing up tgt despite having diff fathers) to a certain extent where they would get angry for one another and overlook certain things that the other did like how Mont-d'Or overlook Opera's lies and tried to clean up his mess afterward. They may be the enemy but they might not be sucha bad person individually. If anything else it seemed like all of them are highkey terrified of Big mom and not in a children-parent way. But in a 'she will actually kill me if i mess up' way. That's why they're all busy trying to cover up matters and resolve them before it actually reaches Big mom's ear? Anyway i hope you'll have an amazing time with your family, sending loves

Episode 824's alternate title: How to Ruin Good Moments with Hideous Sound Effects, Volume 267 (By the way, I just realized that girl on Counter's shoulder was never explained as far as I know. She's at least not his sister, but it seems like we don't know anything about her besides that!) The introduction of Katakuri (and some other characters, but spoilers of course) in the anime is one of the several things I don't like about the anime version of WCI. The manga introductions are much more intimidating than a cheesy "mysterious figure appears onscreen and tries to be cool" moment to me. It's not the last thing the anime messes up in this arc either, but it does great with some things too, so Whole Cake Island is a balanced breakfast.
