Sanji is afraid of this because he believes that become "enhanced" like his brothers will make him cold and cruel as them. An unnecessary fear - since his brothers became ruthless and cruel solely because of the spoiled childhood they led and the values imparted by their father. Sanji was closer to his mother and his values of kindness, decency and courtesy he learned from his mentor, Red-Leg Zeff.

There are many times when the brothers show emotions, like when the blue one shows anger when Sanji protects the girl chef when he throws the plate of food at her. Or when there seems to be fear from the red one as he is being strangled by katakuri. It's more like the emotions are leveled down and their empathy levels are very low. This does not mean that they do not have emotions, but rather the combination of the extremely bad parenting from Judge and their toned-down emotions makes them seem unemotional. Another example is when the brothers work together to get Sanji out with Pudding, even calling Sanji a failure, but not in the usual condescending way, but rather a love/hate sorta way. The main reason they are like how they are is not their genetics, but Judge's way of parenting and the values he instilled in them.

Sanjis’ mother’s toil and struggle was worth it. It was a worthwhile sacrifice. Even though Sanji has gained these inhuman enchantments from his birth. He’s still maintained his compassion, kindness, and emotions. Which is what he feared most. Thankfully he realized who he truly is. His morals and life experiences kept him grounded and prevented him from becoming emotionless like his siblings. Plus, his crew are a huge inspiration and source for power and love in his life. In the end, he’s changed but he’s still the same. He’s Sanji, but even better now.

I suspect its because of the suit. He might not have ever been allowed to use it as a child because he was viewed as a failure but with the recent uses it stimulated the Germa cells and activated. He might have lucked out when his family abandoned him so early because now its activating not in a childs body but in a mature, well trained body. Oda would never let there be a huge gap between Zoro and Sanji forever. That would ruin the whole power dynamic between the monster duo that Oda insists on keeping.

@@TarikA Yeah, Zoro is somewhat stronger than Sanji, but not by that much. Since the timeskip Zoro fans have said that Sanji's been left in the dust but that isn't how Oda likes to keep it. Oda has stated that he likes to keep it so that in terms of power Sanji will usually be a 9/10 while Zoro and Luffy will usually be comparable as 10/10. So Zoro as a bit stronger than Sanji but not by much.

I understand why Sanji destroyed the Raid suit, to reject the MADs Tech inside of it. However, Sanji proved further he is one of the most heroic of straw hats. Sure other straw hats have done good while having tragic backstories but Sanji's whole backstory is based on him being someone that seeks to serve others and save them from what weighs them down. He yelled at Zoro when he risked his life against Mihawk, he insisted that Kine'mon's pride was self-destructive and would put Momonosuke in danger, and he fought for the rights if the starving. Oda wants us to see the straw hats reject their super personas because it emphasizes they are heroes on their own without the costume. But even if Usopp isn't wearing Sniperking's mask he is still Sniperking: a hero who saves those he cares about from afar and even up close if the situation is dire. Sanji is a noble gentleman who is the antithesis of Germa 66, Villains of World Government Pop Culture and became essentially a Sixth Ranger as Soba Mask. In the end we don't love these identities because they overwrite the characters, but because they are the characters. I mean we see tons of Chopperman merch everywhere and really what further proof that a hero isn't his costume is there than a doctor as loving and dedicated as Chopper?

this awakning and blue flames was a crazy glow up to sanji in one arc he became insanely strong he should be stronger than zoro if you thought about it without Emotion strenght: zoro speed: sanji agility: sanji stamina: sanji durability: sanji endurance: sanji armament: zoro conqueror: zoro observation: sanji reflexes: sanji iq: sanji battle iq: sanji AP: zoro DC: sanji compat skill: zoro hand to hand(close fight): sanji experience: zoro = sanji i mean before sanji's awakning durability endurance goes to zoro its so clear that sanji have all the important advantages read the following description i will explain why sanji have endurance point and why he have dc because normal fans cant accept it every thing else doesn't need to be explained such as observation speed agility durability stamina and the rest sanji is more durable its so clear after germa cells so he takes less dmg than zoro so he normally have more endurance + sanji can regenerate Fatal injuries so easily thats first 2-dc sanji literally destroyed the downstairs while. fighting queen unlike zoro he is swords man so his attacks focused at one point every one was struggling against kaido because his durability and luffy was struggling against katakuri because of future sight and speed but he won because of his insaaaaaane endurance every single fight in one piece depended on one of these points and sanji have the advantages in all of the 4 points and sanji have stronger future sight than katakuri and faster than him on outher hand zoro slower than luffy and doesn't even have future sight or strong observation haki if there is an actual fight it will be long because both of them have insane endurance and sanji will be easily dodging zoro attacks so doesn't matter how strong it is but sanji wont keep dodging forever maybe zoro will be able to attack him while he is attacking but future sight will make it so hard even if zoro landed 3-4 strong attacks at max idk how he will land them but lets imagine he landed them sanji can recover almost any physical damage including internal damage thats why sanji have the advantage on zoro currently

Probably not. According to Oda, Sanji's specialisation is his observation haki, whereas for zoro it's armament haki and for luffy it's conqueror's haki Still though this does bump his durability up a lot, so I guess it can be seen as making up for his weaker armament haki compared to the others
