Superstardom is the sole problem in Indian cricket(batting). Now, how do they become superstar in batting? They do become by batting 1, 2 or 3. They get to face a lot of balls to set and get to a century. Centrurions are treated like a god since Sachin Tendulkar. He was great, and was class apart from other batters in his era. But in this Indian team, there is not much of a difference in quality between the batsmen. All these times from 2013-2023 India did not win a single ICC trophy because of the selfish batting from these 'godly' players who always made sure they look after their average/image before playing for their team. Only exception to this would be Dhawan and Yuvraj. You can see the difference, just check 2011 WC and 2013 Champions trohphy results. During these times 'Godly' players( Kohli, Rohit, Dhoni) made sure they keep their place safe irrespective of the team result. They bullied other players and selected the team in such a way it favours their agenda not Indian teams interests. They made sure they give talented players like Sanju one game here and there, not a good run in the team( they found him as a threat to their Superstardom rather than an effective tool in the armour for their team). Indian coaches had no power after Dhoni took over. Kohli and Rohit continued that tradition since they knew it favours their self interest. And a lot of fan fools followed these 'godly' players which gave them more power and made them completely arrogant. Now look at a successful team like Australia. They do not have any 'godly' players. They are all treated equally and they know they cant keep their place unless they play for the team. Now a lot of fanfools will say how India won 2024 t20 WC. t20WC happen just too frequently, every 2 years, LOL. Eventhen, from 2007, Indian team hasnt won a trophy till 2024. Did our superstars win them trophy? They will never win a thing with selfish batting. It was won by Bumrah and co. These all superstars cannot he compared to Bumrah, who is not called a superstar. Its the sad reality of Indian cricket. Only if SUPERSTARDOM is broken, then only Indian cricket can be saved. I am hopeful of this after Gambhir took over. Once our SIR culture changes, these evilish Superstars will come down to earth. There were days when an average Indian celebrated a Sachin century in Indian loss, those days are far behind. I am hopeful for a better India and a better Indian team culture. A true Indian cricket team fan

yesterday i met surya kumar yadav in mumbai after his match against maharashtra and i requested him personally please back sanju samson in T20 he is a gem ..and his response was " bilkul bhai koi khene ki baath hai" Edit : one shout out for surya Kumar Yadav he is a gem of a person .. he was actually coming out of stadium and sitting in his CAR to go back to his hotel room and I called him and he came and I had a good 5 min interaction very down to earth person felt like I was talking to my neighbour 😂

From around 31st minute to 36th or so, Samson talks so lovingly and respectfully about Rohit Sharma. I salute Sanju for the positive thinking and maturity displayed here. However, the truth is Rohit Sharma is the sole reason behind Sanju not getting selected/not given a single match across T20WC 2022, ODI WC 2023 and T20 WC 2024. For those who think R Dravid/Agarkar/Shastri/Kohli etc. killed Samson 's career before it could blossom, the answer is NO. No one has deceived Samson as much as HITMAN. Hitman took 78 ODI's to crack the format, the same reason he backed R Pant for 76 chances in T20I's despite very poor record. However, when it came to Samson (A similar player to Hitman), he never ever backed him and on the contrary, he always sticked with his set of guys, be it Ishan, T Verma or Pant. He informed Sanju on 3 consecutive WC's that " Hey Bro, we will not even give you one chance on the big stage, let me retire first and then maybe Gambhir or Dravid or someone else might back you for 5 consecutive games". No one here is saying Samson totally deserved to get selected for 2022 t20 WC (his case was 50-50), but for 2023 ODI WC, he totally deserved above SKY or anyone else. He still had 2nd best ODI batting average for any Indian after Gill, he was brutally cheated by management at last minute. Coming to 24 T20 WC, am sure he was selected just to pacify media outrage and fans worldwide (For V Kumar and others who think his only fans are Malayalees across the world, go and watch ABD, I Bishop, Warne, H Bhogle, B Lara, Livingstone videos on Sanju). It was all a well staged drama, and any common-sense man knew that even if Dube/Kohli/Pant failed and got 0's every innings of the WC, Samson would not have been given a single chance. The very fact that Rohit came back to Samson and said, 'Hey, I know you must be giving gaali to me in your mind" shows Rohit's inner turmoil while unjustly denying even one opportunity in WC to Samson. Samson is not the first Indian cricketer to be victim of politics/Captain's favoritism, and he won't be the last. Between 2015-2020, if it was the selectors who did not select him even once after his debut chance given at on:7, then post 2021, it was not selector's mistake, but Rohit Sharma's, that Samson was never treated fairly. Now, he is turning 30 and just like Surya, finally upon turning 30, his time might have come. But despite averaging 55.6 and scoring tough series winning ton on SA soil, Samson won't be selected for ODI Champions trophy because the captain of ODI side is a privileged (backed from 19 guy) and unlike T20 captain (backed from age 30 only). Thats is the reason Samson will be supported by Surya.

The anchor asked question to Sanju about Rohit quality as a leader , then Sanju replied and gave him an incident during World Cup t20 2024 final, he said that before starting the final match team management decided and asked me I am going to play final match. But suddenly before toss again team management decided to go with same team as per semi. Then Rohit did not went directly for the toss he came and meet me(Sanju) and say sorry.. and informed Sanju that due to some circumstances we are going with the same team and not considering you, he tried convincing Sanju in a very broken heart. And almost 10-20 minuts he spend time with Sanju so he don’t feel bad.

It’s quite surprising that when Sanju started mentioning that he is an avid reader, I was wondering whether he read Alchemist, because that book in a nutshell is what his journey is about. And then he came up with exactly that book as one of his favorite. Do let him know that he has a huge fan base here in US. Many of us don’t know him at a personal level to judge whether we are stanning the right guy. For us so far it was not about ‘Sanju Samson’ the person, but ‘Sanju Samson’ the entity - a person with a never give up attitude and trying to prove himself against all odds. And I hope the real Sanju Samson is not different from the Sanju Samson that we are assuming to be. That 100 in many ways felt like a personal victory.
